I have a few questions, do you have to have ALL 6 survivors on the board in order to play, or can you just have one for solo play? Also, I'm pretty sure but just incase, do zombies ALWAYS hit? And finally, are you actually able to do solo play? Thanks! Great vid as always!😀

You can play with fewer survivors, but the rule book does outline recommendations. You can play solo - you simply control all the heroes yourself. Zombies always hit.

I've been thinking about buying either this game or dead of winter. The biggest negative I've heard about this game is the rule to hit a fellow survivor first when shooting. I saw they fixed that in expansions but I was wondering if there were official variants to change it in the base game?

Scenario: Doug moves into a space with a zombie (action 1) then attacks the zombie (action 2). The attack does not connect leaving the zombie alive, Doug then is not allowed to move out of that space correct? Leaving the space would require action 3 plus an extra action because he is occupying the same space as a zombie if I am understanding the rule correctly. Or is there a stunning effect that would allow Doug to use the 3rd action free of the escaping penalty?

There is not special stunning effect from a failed attempt.

@@WatchItPlayed so in that scenario Doug's 3rd move would have to be an attack, make noise, or do nothing (assuming no other players are in the space to trade with). Had he been equipped with slippery he could have moved without the penalty

When you move is it three times and when zombies are in the same space as you how many actions aré for one zombie and two i didnt get it

+Castledcolt2x When you activate a survivor, you get 3 actions you can take. One of those actions, could be to move one space. Or you could use all 3 actions to move three spaces. However, if you want to move, and there are zombies in your space, you also have to spend an extra action for each zombie there. So if there was 2 zombies in the space, you'd spend 1 action to move, and two extra because of the 2 zombies. If there are 3 zombies in the space, you're stuck there, because you'd need 4 actions, which at the start of the game, you don't have. So don't get stuck on a space with too many zombies :)

You don't have to fight, you can leave the space, if you have enough actions to do so (it costs more actions to leave a space with zombies).
