I've been playing this game since launch(ps4/PS5) , heavy into the Horde mode. Don't know how many hundreds of hours I have in it. Solid game you can obsess over, step away and come back and still love it. Can't give a better recommendation for a solid switch title.

Looks cool. Definitely pick up the trilogy for 13.99 digital to try the series out. The Sniper elite games play great on the switch and highly recommend them. The zombie ones must just be all online based, as the trilogy was a bad having a sniper gun while zombie spawn around you. A partner could definitely improve that game style like this review said.

Zombie army 4 is easy to solo after a certain point it's literally impossible to complete zombie army trilogy.

Looks great, Trilogy was awesome and decently priced with all the dlc - this will be awesome too but with only the season one pass included that price is still pretty steep considering there are two more season passes that have to be bought separately at like $30-$35 USD a piece!!! The two seasons cost more than the whole original game - kind of a bummer, but yeah still great game just maybe wait for a sale if you don’t gotta have it and all of its content RIGHT NOW. Great review none-the-less, keep it up gents!

I just got ZA4DW on my Switch on sale and after watching your review! It's a good game, I am still tweaking my controls so I don't die when shooting in-scope. I like Rebellion games; i also have Sniper Elite 2, 3, 4, and 5; with 4 being my favorite.

I had a blast with the Zombie Army Trillogy, but I agree with you when we talk the RPG Elements. I wish they whould have done an Open World with all significant characters available for Carl to recruit into the Resistance. But hey.. who knows! Perhaps they may do it in the near future.

I’m a huge fan of this series having them on multiple systems there are clearly some visual concessions made here and the frame rate is 30 not 60 but after playing this for a fair few hours last night the core experience is unchanged and I enjoyed this just as much as on PS4. I imagine I’ll be clocking an other insane amount of hours in this version as well. Also this can be had for around £33 from Amazon currently which makes it a bit cheaper

@@DreadMunky I also have World War Z on both PS4 Pro and Switch, thankfully Zombie Army 4 looks nowhere near as soft and blurry as World War Z does. Graphics look for the most part fairly on par I noticed some visual effects/textures were toned down a little, corpses disappeared quite quick, enemy count was also less from what i could see, there might have been other things but nothing glaring. The frame rate was also much more stable than World War Z for sure I'm not much of an expert to be fair and i played on PS4 Pro in 1080p 60 not 4k 30 ultimately though I don't think you'll be disappointed. The worse issue I had with it turning up yesterday was the lack of other online players. I really hope this helps, but Rebellion do excellent ports I also have their other games and all make cuts in the right places

Super excited to pick up the physical of this. I got Trilogy during a random Gamestop sale that had it marked down to $12 last year. Haven't seen it go that low since, but man, I played the LIVING HELL out of that game and will do the same with this one.

Sounds like a good time! Glad to hear that it looks decent and performs well. That's always my biggest concern when titles using more realistic style graphics come to the Switch. I've honestly never paid any mind to the series, likely saw the campy cover art and dismissed it. Either that or it was a victim of my zombie fatigue. lol. Was the Trilogy any good? Is playing that a prerequisite for diving into Dead War?

Yes and no, it has steller levels and has story to some of these characters and what's going on but the original is pretty barebones with no customization, but it's a good game and you can jump into 4 without missing much

ZA Trilogy was such a good game until you really tried to play online. At that point, it was unplayable for me. The input lag was so awful it completely changed how I would need to play. Unfortunately it seems as though only a little bit has changed with this release.. which is a bummer becuase it really is such an underrated game.

This game will never emulate or simulate the Left 4 Dead vibe I'm looking for. And as the video stated, it's just more of the same, with little to no new stuff so I won't get a copy but I do wish Rebellion best of luck on release.
