Man the AMS in the House of the Dead series and this game really have clear cut distinctions for their agents. You either: A) Are extremely well dressed and have the worst dialogue imaginable but guns (or keyboards?) that reload instantly forever or B) Are dressed like street cops and don't have enough sense to bring more than one handgun clip but can BEAT UNDEAD WITH YOUR FISTS

I have to admit, I'm surprisingly comfortable with the concept of a game where you just beat the shit out of zombies. It doesn't make any less sense than those other beat 'em ups like, say, Aliens Vs. Predator where you're literally fistfighting creatures that have acid for blood.

On weapon mode I think that's what it's called makes it easier. All weapon damage is increased while melee is useless. Pick the girl and go for critical shots.

I copied and pasted this from a guide by Mav. Whenever you're hit by a zombie or projectile, you'll notice a purple mist over your lifebar equal to about double the damage that you take. If you're hit too often and too quickly, the poison will eventually slow you down to a dangerous extent, unless an antidote herb is nearby. You'll literally turn purple and start limping, and the poison takes time to wear off. However, your attacks will become more powerful to compensate. Hopefully you'll never get into such a situation, but the following super combos will be available if the poison meter (purple mist) takes up over half of your lifebar.
