I've never fought in a war because I don't think I could handle that, but I was directly affected when I was younger by someone who had been in a war. They weren't mentally well, at all. I use this song to cope with that and try to forgive them, but it sucks when people try to say "oH tHiS sPeaKs tO mY dArk soUl" and they fake depression. It's a real mental illness and not something to try to relate to.
