the movie was bad in general, and yea i agree. can doctor strange actually defeat the bad guy bruh. first movie make sense as dormammu is hella powerful, and his use of the time stone was badass. against thanos it also makes sense to give the time stone as its all part of the larger plan. but here seriously, they coulda had some insane doctor strange vs wanda fight scenes, with help from wong and america obviously. but noooo. they gotta ruin the movie with cringy kid acting. dude the ice cream song made me cringe so hard.

One of the last movies they released before going the DC CW route and making everything into TV shows. @@nikoguarro they were definitely cheesy, I’ll give the first the pass because it meant so much to me but as someone that went day 1 to see SM2 in theaters I was genuinely disappointed, one particular scene comes to mind, where doc ock is on the building terrorizing and it cuts to some woman screaming in fear, so she turns to one side and scream, then to the other side to scream and runs to camera and screams right at it, I respect raimi for his work because it’s definitely his style but to not accept the truth in that those movies were even too cheesy for the mcu and to attach him as the director of this movie, I knew as soon as I heard that it was going to be bad

Yeah it would've been a lot better if Strange and America had more scenes of them trying to slowly understand her powers, with Strange being a type of mentor-figure to America. It would've harkened back to the first movie where The Ancient One was trying to get Strange to open his mind to spellcraft. Strange could've done the same for America. It would've made this ending more satisfying as it would've been earned. Strange just going "Just believe in yourself' at the end feels like a plot cop-out. Instead we get a script that has the characters just meandering around the whole movie. Visually appealing thanks to Reimi, but he just could not save the writing.

Demons locked in on Wanda look like a nod to Nightmare on Elm Street when Freddy accepted the demons inside him that made him Freddy. Strange not performing numerous magical spells in this movie was a bomb. It's not about knowing the most powerful spell all the time. It's about skill. When this movie came out of the cinema, me and my friend went to watch it. We were hoping for Strange to get the book of Vishanti and have a big battle with Darkhold Scarlet Witch, but it turned out like this… we were so dissatisfied. Although this movie has a bad writing, cringey scenes and details, but it was still fun to watch, at least it has some epic scenes with good cinematic (and I also very keen on the Strange + Wong duo :)
