Love the illustrations! I haven't read Zombie either but I want to. I have read a bunch of her short stories and she has some really good ones!

The images are confusing and almost disturbing, which seems just right. Joyce is a highly respected author, and the fact that I haven’t read her work is such a crime. I’m going to make amends.😁

A very pretty volume, indeed. I ended up passing on the AE for this one. I just couldn’t drudge up significant interest in the premise or subject matter of the story. I’ve heard only good things about the author, but I’ve never read any of her work.

I haven’t either. The book looks great, and seems like it COULD be great. I’ll hang onto it u til I decide if I like the story or not. It’s probably my next read.
