It's hilarious that you omitted it, because rarely has your usual "class dismissed" sign off felt more appropriate. Also, I was *blown away* when I watched Mumbo's POV by how lifelike his barrel-carrying stand looked (I literally screamed "lift with your knees!"), so knowing he had your coaching for that one makes a whole lot of sense.

Yeah, the book one was daunting, this one look pretty easy to use... Won't use it as I'm not a builder, but maybe one day I'll learn how to build other than using a mod blueprint and putting the utilities underground... Not that I've played MC in quite some time :p

This is another one of those times where the jobs that the Hermits have before/outside of being a Minecrafter/gamer shines through, which is one of the things that really makes it feel special. Even if you didn't KNOW Cleo was a teacher, when they get into the pacing and the scaffolding for Mumbo, it shines through.

Hearing Mumbo talk about his current build style as more alive than previous, and (having started in season 6), I see the change. Starting off with medical white polygons (the sphere with biomes) and the cube-like terrain in season 6 and then the clockwork heart in ancient ruins show still utilizing those big shapes but introducing elements of life. Then, in season 8, building the giant waterfall, cliffs and then putting a totem statue and a village around it represents the movement towards more organic shapes along with moving towards a living civilization in the area. Now the addition of armor stands Cleo's is giving Mumbo a glimpse into taking that growth into giving it actual life with action models, like Cleo was doing with the pirate village all the way back in season 6 ... and they were doing it without the mod as it currently is. This building off of each other is what I like most about watching all of the hermits. It's the way they help each other grow and take inspiration off one another that make me want to keep watching.

For everyone asking what the mod is, it's called Armor Poser. It is on both Modrinth and CurseForge. You need the versions meant for 1.21 or later for the scaling feature. Also, the devs are wonderful people.

I really enjoyed seeing this armor stand session in Mumbo's video, so happy to see it in Cleo's. I love seeing the absolute appreciation Mumbo and others have for their armor stand art. The excitement when Cleo suggests or shows them something they didn't think of is great. Cleo is the master and for ages there didn't seem to be anyone who wanted to learn. I'd bet the changes to the mod were encouraging. As Mumbo would say, I'm chuffed to bits at this episode.

Really enjoying how you and Mumbo of you pinged off each other. The vibes are just nice and chill, and I would honestly love to see the two of you collab more at some point. Adding a varying cast of Hermits to False's base is SUCH a silly and fun idea. Great way to escalate the request for a tiny Bdubs. Honestly i think i owe mumbo some more credit for his creative side. I'm used to him being the clever redstoner, and i'm always surprised at how well he takes to building and now armourstands too, but i keep forgetting how much he does creative work IRL with his films. he's got plenty of creative energy. anyway, it is great to see him getting to express that creative side in game too.

I really love this episode, I love whenever you teach armor stands and how you think about them. I never realized until you said it in the video that you always think of a funny little scenario and then build it, each character you build always has a little story to them. Grian is Sir Codswaffle. No other cod has that majestic waffle. If ever you have trouble telling them apart, add maple syrup and you'll know the difference between a fish and a waffle. (Gem can help if you need the syrup.)

I'm having so much fun using armor stand poses. I actually learned by watching your videos and got many ideas of what cool "scenes" to add to my own town on the server I play on. I wish I could show you a few of them... I'm so happy with how well they turned out! Unfortunately with the way our server is I can't do it via the menu like you & Mumbo did... so I have to use the book for everything... so it takes me a loooong time to get one small scene done. Thank you for the inspiration!

Some witchy/warlocky towers have an observatory for closely examining the stars in their design aesthetic. Seeing that 'lighthouse' moment with the spyglass makes me think a 'deep space' size telescope could work now that it's possible. Mumbo did do really great with what he had for his first armor stand diorama, thanks in no small part to having an excellent teacher who was willing to not only show how it's done, but also invite pondering the possibilities for more creative application of the new skills.
