Getting Mending books is super easy. Just fish for them. It works out for all Hermits except for one.

The loot table for fishing is actually based on the seed and shared between all players, so every time someone else catches a mending book, that’s one that Grian would have otherwise caught. So if Cleo catches a mending book it would be hilarious For those who don’t know, a loot table is how computers simulate randomness- as a true random is impossible for a computer- it will be a really long string of outputs that can happen wherever someone does a certain thing- in this case fish.

The loot table is dependent on the seed, but that's the only difference between a loot table and true randomness (loot comes from the seed instead of coming from nothing at all). But also we all know that Gambler's Fallacy is actually Gambler's Truth

Start adding to Ren's duties Make him arbitrate disputes in the Neighborhood and then see how long you can make him listen to the most inconsequential dispute you can think of. Make him establish diplomatic relations with all the other collectives on the server and negotiate treaties.

Hay bales trade might be a sleeper OP, everybody loves mud blocks... and there are a few ways to have fun with wheat farming, options options options! On the other hand, S-grade books include swift sneak, and that might bite :D

Cleo could definitely recruit Cub to help with villagers. Villagers can be used to automatically farm wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beatroot. The wheat can be autocrafted into haybales for sale, and the rest sold to farmers for emeralds. And then use those emeralds to buy the S teir books for sale. The other permits like red wool, terracottas, and soul sand/soil may be better off traded for permits for things Cleo is already making as part of villagers, or for things that are less annoying to grind for. (Or just are generally more valuable)

You may be able to trade red wool for end rods from stress. Since she already has two wool permits so if you can give her the red one one she would have three wool permits making her start monopolising the wool as she wood have three colours in her permits so more chance of her making money. And you would get end rods something that generates money in hermitcraft. And i am sure stress loves to get rid of it to avoid spending time in the end

She can also trade, and soil sand is a great permit to trade to someone who has/wants a piglin bartering farm. (Soil has to be manually harvested) Haybales aren't hard to automate, basically just make a villager powered wheat farm and route the wheat into an autocrafter. (Cleo could easily recruit Cub as part of a "learning villagers" arc. Villager crop farms will be useful for getting the emeralds she needs to buy all those books that will be raking in the diamonds)

The S-tier books are NICE, they are simply villager trades with librarians, so make yourself a trade hall for librarians and you're all set, just do paper trades or book trades if you get the one where you give them 1 book and they give you an emerald, and then the one where you give them an emerald and they give you a book shelf you have a endless supply of books and emeralds and you can easy peasy get all the books that fall into the s-tier category

orange glazed terracotta is genuinely the prettiest block in minecraft tho lol just not too easy to build with. with prismarine or sth it can make gorgeous mosaic floors!! (orange and teal is a complementary color combination and the colors look absolutely gorgeous together - Grian's entire starter base is built with this combo... and to have them in one block, with a pretty design... add warped wood, acacia, prismarine, all the coppers, etc and it's just super pretty)

With regards to lime terracotta, if you plan on keeping your claim to it, Impulse and Skizz just setup a cactus farm strictly for XP, meaning they are going to have a ton of green dye and nothing to do with it. Could be an opportunity there. It's also pretty easy to just farm and smelt sea pickles for lime dye, but thought I would throw it out there just in case.

CLEO - Just a reminder that you may want to get your Villagers up and running sooner rather than later, BEFORE the new Minecraft updates come, as they'll soon become biome specific. Obviously most Books can be obtained via an Enchanting Table as well, but Mending will require a Villager (or fishing. Lol!)

You get Mending like you get any other book, you just gotta play Lecturn roulette until you get a Librarian who trades it. Then lock it in with any trade. And, finally, have a zombie naw its brains a time or two and convert it back until you get super cheap trades.

The karaoke bit at the end was so wholesome. It's little things like that that is the reason I love Hermitcraft. Are you considering bringing back the social deduction game this season? I genuinely loved that minigame, but I feel like it didn't get enough attention since it was near season's end and because of Decked Out II (amazing minigame, make no mistake). Seeing different hermits interact in that minigame was some of my favorite experiences in season 9.

(Making them good for trading for emeralds) Either way those 2 permits have synergy as being covered by villager infrastructure (perfect for someone remodeling a village), and wheat if going to be popular for mud. (Assuming people don't just continue raiding Grian's massive wheat field)
