I'm sorry, did you seriously recommend the 2004 remake of "Dawn of the Dead" over the original 1978 film by the late legend George Romero, who essentially invented the genre as it's known today with his 1968 classic, "Night of the Living Dead"?? Did you really just do that??? Man, that's messed up.

If you want a great comedy zombie movie, check out Shaun of the Dead. It came out 20 years ago and stars Simon Pegg and nick Frost. One of my favorite movies.

You must add Return of the Living Dead (1985) to your list - a great horror with some quality laughs.

Bill Murray movies: Ghostbusters (obviously), Caddyshack, Stripes, Lost in Translation, Groundhog Day, Scrooged, Kingpin. And a bunch of others. Bill Murray has been pretty prolific.

I love the 2004 remake of “Dawn of the Dead,” which might be my favorite zombie movie. (I much prefer it over the original.) “Train to Busan” is fantastic, while “28 Days Later” is also well worth watching. For horror/comedy, “Shaun of the Dead.” And for an over-the-top, drive-in, gross-out aesthetic, “Planet Terror.” For me, “World War Z” is completely skippable.

Not a zombie movie, but a combination Mummy / Elvis movie. Look up the independent film from 2002 with Bruce Campbell and Ozzie Davis called Bubba Ho-Tep. Bruce Campbell does an awesome job as Elvis.

Bill Murray actually did a movie with Woody Harrelson called Kingpin. As you may have guessed it's a bowling movie.

So _GOOD_ guys! I love this movie. Unique & funny. Bonus that it was mostly shot near where I live. Coincidentally some of the same places that the zombie tv show *The Walking Dead* was filmed. Bill Murray & Woody Harrelson were also in the comedy *Kingpin* (1996) that you may enjoy. Hoping Chandra is doing well. Wishing you all only the best. Thanks!

The original Dawn of the Dead really sets the stage as does it's follow up Day of the Dead. Both are essential for zombie fans. Jordan... I notice you are an Aphex Twin fan... give Affin label and Joachim Spieth a listen !

Such a fun movie, glad you guys enjoyed it. For a Bill Murray recommendation I'd suggest Little Shop of Horrors; he has a relatively minor role, but it's a great film and I think you guys would really enjoy it. You should also check out World War Z sometime, it's a more 'serious' zombie movie and one of my personal faves.

Yes yes definitely watch The Return of The Living Dead. It’s my favorite zombie movie because it has comedic elements to it as well as some good gore. It’s also the first to have fast zombies. Resident evil is cool also. .

Kingdom (2019), a series from Netflix with about 12 episodes + a movie, is an awesome zombie show, a breath of fresh air in this genre. A different setting from what people are used to.

The end credit scene is Bill Murray doing his famous character from Caddyshack. He plays a groundskeeper at a golf course and has that way of talking during some famous scenes that people still quote today. Will not ruin it but highly recommend you watch Caddyshack as it is a wild movie (rumoured they were all doing so much coke that it is a miracle the movie got made).

The sequel is just as funny the timeline is a little off with how much Abigail Bresslan has grown up but I'm glad they didn't recast her character she's such a great young actress she deserves to be in the film so we can forgive them a little inconsistency.

Return of the Living Dead! Also if you want to go down a Euro horror route that no other reactors I know of have done, Lucio Fulci's Zombi aka Zombie Flesh Eaters from 1979. But you may get hooked on Italian grindhouse horror (not that that's a bad thing)

"Time to nut up or shut up!" Fun Fact: Twinkies really are called "Submarinos" in Mexico. Fun Fact: The "Zombie Kill Of The Week" was leftover from the script's origin as a television pilot. Every weekly episode would have such a kill by characters on the show. Super Deep-Cut Reunion Fact: In Bill Murray's mansion, Woody Harrelson's character mentions that he is a big fan of all his movies. Harrelson starred in Kingpin (1996) with Murray, which has since become a cult classic. Ned Nederlander Award Fact: Woody Harrelson actually plays the banjo in the supermarket scene. Although it could have easily been faked, Harrelson actually took the time before and during production to learn how to play the instrument rather than use a dubbed-in banjo. Location Location Fact: Contrary to popular belief, the supermarket scene was not filmed at an actual supermarket. A movie set was built from scratch to look like a real supermarket, and some of the merchandise is fake. For example, the stuff behind the glass refrigerator doors is just printed on paper. According to the producers, it was cheaper than buying out a supermarket and paying them for broken merchandise.

Since you’ve unsubbed, unfortunately you’ll never see that you misheard the commentary. It just seems strange that you weren’t convinced it was a first-time watch from the previous 30 minutes! (Of course, it’s also strange that someone would unsubscribe based on a single word-never mind one that was misunderstood.)

@@RMBittner seriously. Absolutely nothing in this entire video implies that either of them have seen this before. Jordan is clearly surprised by the Bill Murray reveal, for me that's the benchmark for a totally blind reaction.
