Listening to Psychedelic Jukebox online today (they play '60s music all day Saturday), I heard Casey Jones and the Governors and it transported me back to the mid-1960s when I saw them play in Zurich whilst I was living in Switzerland with my family. I remember my friend and I missed our last train home and we had to stay at their hotel and Jim, who was the bass player with them, was just such a nice guy! He even replied to my letter when he got back to England (I'd stupidly sent him a Swiss stamp to reply!). I was only about 16 and very homesick for England (I came back in '69). I never realised that Jim was later a founding member of Argent and has played with the Kinks and the Animals II... it's put a big smile on my face today!
