Total Warhammer III is an RTS strategy game set in the Warhammer Fantasy Universe. Recently, on stream, we tried to do a Zombies Only campaign with meme-god Helman Ghorst and 8 trillion zombies. Surprisingly, the result was not exactly what I expected.

That zombies were nerfed twince lad. That faction was the most op in the game when the game started (a glitch with the healing, those zombies were immortal) so they nerfed them to bits. Same goes for Throt's full mutaded army of Stormvermin

I have had Vlad Von Carstein personally attack my settlements 4 times in a single turn, despite losing 3 times, he succeeded in taking it on the 4th because my troops were so depleted by that point I couldn't really do anything.

Ah, Ghorst's zombies. Slow fights and because the damage from his Mortis effect is spread out on every troop...the enemies end up in good enough shape after the battle to try again most of the time.

I belive you can move the reinforcement point during the deploy phase. Just click and drag across the area they allow. Usually it can go a decent bit to the left or right.

It can go infinitely far. The further you move it the longer the reinforce takes though

To bring out the best of your zombie hordes there are 3 settlements you must capture because they contain landmarks that give your faction some pretty good buffs 1: Nagashizzar has a landmark that gives your entire faction 5% physical resistance 2: Galbaraz has a landmark that give most of your infantry 8% weapon strength and 15% spell resistance once they reach rank 7 3: The Black Pyramid of Nagash give your entire faction 10% spell resistance With these Landmarks, the Legion of Dead skill and the 10% Ward Save from Ghorst's skill tree your rank 7 Zombies effectively have 50% spell resistance. This can be boosted to 75% spell resistance if you are willing to trait farm Kairos Fateweaver (15%) and Heinrich Kemmler (10%).

That really isn't an issue for Zombies once you get them to rank 7 because they're spell resistance can be boosted to 50% without farming for lord traits. 10% ward save from Ghost, 15% spell resistance from the Legion of Dead skill and another 15% spell resistance from the Ruins of Mournkain landmark in Galbaraz (both spell resistance buff require the unit to be rank 7). Meanwhile their physical resistance can only reach a maximum of 35%.

Same army, that got defeated attacks again. Never seen before? Kleaper plays the faction that does that the most. Lose, 100% dead... Reborn with 80% of army. AI does that so much as any Vampire faction.

@@KleaperVods i understand That power is sometimes not so obvious and That watching zombie blob for 2 hours is way more interesting! I suggest you try Malagor and make it at least 20 turns so you get centigors and Minotaurs. Beastmen have very similar gampeplay to vampire counts (encircle, alpha, rout). Only they hit way harder.

@@evzenkastl6386 The last time I played BM was WH1, and jesus they were the worst faction back then. I know they’ve improved since WH1 and gotten more mechanics, but my issue is less with the BM than it is with Horde factions, although they’ve gotten better since then with establishing Herdstones and the like. Vampire Coast is my ideal horde-like faction, since they have shipbuilding and city building. But factions that barely interact with settlement building? Personally not for me

@@KleaperVods I had similar view, but now I see beastmen as a very fun faction, the battles are fun. Vampirates and helves are the ones I consider most boring. Beastmen sucked hard in wh1, but since the rework they are a different race. Maladroit was actually kind of broken in 2. Now he is fine. So ok, do whatever you want, but i just had to object that beastmen suck, because they dont. I would say them, greenskins and counts are the most fun rush factions from battle perspective.

Y'know what no that response was mean of me. In the Vod, I was referring to a specific type of people asking me to do stuff. It's one thing to say "Hey I think it'd be cool if you did X", which is dope. But it's another when people say "Why the fuck haven't you done X" or "Do X or I'm unsubbing". Once I literally had someone join my Discord, ping me 17 times to play something they wanted, got banned (for racism), then DM me about how I wouldn't be able to afford my rent if I didn't play the game they wanted me to. Stuff like THAT is what annoys me
