Using chiptunes was an incredibly nice touch with the inverted arpegittos. My only complaint is the beat feels weaker but there's a sharpness to this. If the original was like an industrial mincer, this feels more like a precise cutting arm stencilling out shapes and stamping metal into form. The part prior to 0:25 lacks some of the finess of the transition of the original but I really like the use of synthesizers here. The firm jelly sounds of the bass and then the ambient together work super well but the cymbals are really weak and glassy compared to the original's beat which really is my only real complaint. The other issue is cymbals tend to sound pretty awful on everything but really high end headphones and they can muddy other sounds if played away from headphones because of how soundwaves move through the air if the spacing and pitches don't mix right giving them this really watery compressed sound. Really, my only issue is the palette used in the drums. They also super lack the energy of the original because the decay on the beat and the force is weaker. Its not "crunchy" enough I guess? Everything else I am super in love with. The lack of a feeling of "a machine starting up" as it gets going also makes the rest feel a bit slower and weaker because the transitions are muddier between the different sections of the piece. Overall, 7.5/10. I really enjoy it but it feels like its missing something -- which is pretty painful considering how on point you are with the flourishes atop the original, especially in the melodies. I super super super love that. I remember there being another mix. It'd be nice if you had both up so people could pick them apart and say what they like. Removing content people like on KZbin is boarderline criminal because its a bitch to save and if you remove it and its obscure, it literally ceases to exist from the internet like some sort of memetic amputation. Don't be like that my dude.
