oh they turned out perfectly!!!! and i love your method of leaving the palm frond whole and tying all the packets to the big leaf as one, instead of just using strips of leaves individually-and then simmering as a whole- it seems faster, or more efficient than the only other way i have seen it done, which is by tying them all individually and then steaming...at any rate, i am sure they were delicious, judging by the family's smiles and excitement when the food hit the table ;p! as always, a wonderful episode mamma- keep up the great work- it is so important... a true educational asset to the world...much love and may peace be with you
