A wonderfully informative piece on the history of the music hall and its personalities. Masterfully delivered with some skilful sketches and a lot of fun.

What an amazing history lesson into this lost art of vaudeville and the music halls. It shows in a pleasant and educated way, history of the theatrical history which has culminated in the development in the less personal stage of flat screens all over the planet. This delightful video shares a part of history which is in danger of being lost to obscurity! Please watch this!!!! Thank you Tim Wilson :)

So much to learn and appreciate in this. I like the animation of the lady writing at 7:43 - beautiful. Excellent job with all the drawings of the costumes!

Enthralling and unstoppable, if it were a book it would be unputdownable. Imaginative and dare I say animated presentation; leaves you wanting more. Impatient for part two to broaden my knowledge in an entertaining, absorbing and relaxing way.

It's kind of ridiculous how the really awesome videos like this are under viewed. You are under-appreciated. SO AWESOME! I think the internet is making people forget history.

I agree with Vision on - this is simply one of the best historys of Music hall ever, but it is also an excellent approach to presentation in every way- informative, measured and fun. THe illustrations are great and the music really lifts everything. A point should be said about Cilla Black- you got in Leslie Phillips so why not Cilla! She was the spirit of music hall even if she was not actually there- I saw her perform as principal boy in "Jack and the beanstalk" in Birmingham in 83 and have never forgotten it. a wonderful performer and greatly missed.I look forward to part 2!!
