I must say, and I have said this before, but this was truly the greatest video I have seen from you. This whole production was absolutely breathtaking, and as someone who has been watching since the first episode of this series, you really have perfected your style. Hopefully I will be able to create zoo presentations even half as great as something like this. No matter where you head next, I will always look forward to the next episode of Zoo Tours. Though if I had to make the choice, the San Diego zoo would of course make for an incredible episode no doubt. Whatever zoo is next, just please keep doing what your doing, because myself and over 2000 other people will be waiting for the next one. Thank you for your all your great work. As for the trivia answer, pretty sure it's the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

I would like to see the Central Park zoo and the Bronx zoo in New York City. The rosamond Gifford, senneca Park, and buffalo zoo in upstate New York would also be cool to see. Sennaca Park has the only African elephants in the entire state of New York.

I'm from ohio and Columbus is my favorite zoo mostly because of this one area however I feel like the only animal that could had made this better would be to move the black rhinos to here for the Savannah or the watering hole but still wonderful

Fun tidbit of info about the Columbus zoo- They own acres and acres of land that, as of now, is used to grow their hay. My husband used to work landscaping and his company was hired to take care of it a couple times a year! I imagine as the zoo continues to grow (right now they're working on another part that seems to be similar to Sea World) they'll use that space to expand and outsource their hay needs.

Dude I am hooked on your channel! I feel so happy that there are groups of people who have love and admiration for zoos like I do, I just renewed my pass for my local zoo which is the LA Zoo and try to go often. It may not be the best zoo but it’s my home zoo and it’s definitely improving since I was a kid. Anyways keep pumping these out and thank you for always being informative, you’re the reason I really wanna go to the Columbus Zoo now 🙂

In my honest opinion, I think if they had enough money and space, they should have taken the heart of Africa and the Congo expedition, and just combined it into one.

Yes they considered that, but they didn’t have space next to the Congo Expedition. That region doesn’t have room to expand anymore and they’re only acquiring more land on the north eastern side of the zoo, since a river and major roadway block the west side

Can you visit the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, it is ranked one of the top zoos in Florida and it is split to sections Primate World, Florida Wildlife Center, Asian Gardens, Wallaroo Station, Safari Africa, Ituri Forest, and theirs a stand alone aviary. I visited the zoo in 2014.

Bloodwork recently indicated that Shenzi is not a female, but a male. When Shenzi was younger, they thought he was a female, but as he got older, Columbus did some bloodwork and said Shenzi is a male.
