Love this video! A lot of ZB vids are really just montages (which is ok :P) but this was cute, really informative, had some good stuff and some challenges about raising the cubs apart from the mother. And Terry is a great speaker!

Can I ask why they’re not with their mom? Did she not take care of them when they were born or?? I do know that can happen in the wild at first but the mother comes around after a while & starts paying attention to them. Also, the first few weeks are vital for mom & cubs to be together because that is when the bond is first formed. You can see how agitated mom is by seeing her cubs & not being able to get near them. Must be torture for her! So unless she was really sick or showing violent behaviour towards them there there’s no reason to separate them. I live in South Africa & work at a private game reserve so I do know what I’m talking about!
