And the fact that a penguin is bigger than a gorilla, it depends on how you look at it, in height yes, but in mass and body volume no.

Мне тоже это кажется странным. Логичнее было бы сделать так, чтобы каждая мутировавшая особь считалась за погибшую, и при еë ликвидации в вольере либо теперь будет -1 представитель вида, либо со временем появится лишь детёныш животного, что в последствии вырастет в взрослую особь, что сможет опять подвергнуться заражению паразита, и так по кругу.
