The Giraffe feeder being on the ground is a red flag. They aren't built to feed like that. Seeing this in real life would be a major nono for a zoo. If intentional, its a nice tip off that something is very wrong with the "zoo". Holy cow! This zookeeper job is offering the kind of salary that New Your Times journaists get!

@@HeliosPlayGames​​⁠​⁠ it actually is, it just also goes by other names as well more formally, like PTSD for example. the term started being used because activists needed an easier term to explain the inadequate conditions zoos were keeping animals in, so rather than constantly refer to PTSD and get told that animals in zoos seem “too functional” to have that, they refer to it as a form of psychosis, thus zoochosis as a term was born. generally speaking, much like with human PTSD, the display of symptoms tends to be a little more complicated than zoochosis makes it out to be. it’s very easy to hear excessive pacing, swaying, and grooming. as symptoms and think that basically every animal you’ve ever seen at the zoo must be suffering, but you have to remember that a lot of those same behaviors are things animals do naturally, especially when in relatively small areas. the line between stereotypic behavior and genuine zoochosis isn’t very easy to see when you don’t know the animals behavioral patterns, so it makes it very easy to convince people that animals are being mistreated and vice versa.

There are more endings and You can unlock an ending by doing nothing during the contract part, be fast or slow in completing the game to get other endings And other is when you are almost completely infected go to the bathroom for an ending

Yes please play again! @Dawko the poop sucker thing is what you grab the parasites with. Every time you get an ending you get a new animal enclosure unlocked. For all the testing you need to complete everything on every animal in the enclosure until you get the *Task Completed* notification on screen. It's also not really necessary to tranquillize them to get blood samples, if you follow the animals around and they should lie down for you so you can get the samples like the gorillas did. If you keep meat on hand every time after you feed the animals the regular food, it should calm down the mutated animal which may leave room to cure them in the future. It definitely seems that your version was really bugged. There was a ton of stuff that was supposed to happen that didn't for some reason. I haven't seen anyone get a good ending yet so I'm assuming it's really hard to 😅

Man this game blew me away but wow that ending was ROUGH, hopefully they patch it up because I was really interested until the cutscenes started to bug out since the whole "Kill the bitch" thing lost all impact when we didn't even get to hear why or what happened. However I'm still really looking forward to seeing more! I'm 90% sure the fecal collector is used on those parasites you saw, they're stored in the same type of tubes after all. The game is still pretty new so I'm sure things will get patched up here and there, looking forward to more!

NO WAY THIS GUY MAKES $100,000 Im a zookeeper seasonal and I make less than a fourth of that, and most full-timer keeprs make like half. Also who gets a job as a zookeeper and get surprised they have to deal with animal excrements 😭 Theres also a lot of small inaccuracies about this game, but I genuinely really like it! This is such a cool premise for a horror game and it was done so well.

I think some of inaccuracies are intentional, honestly. Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like certain things are meant to call attention to the sketchiness of the zoo. Like the wage, it feels like it’s meant to call in desperate people because of how dangerous the job itself is, which would probably be why the guy was surprised at having to pick up excrement because I have a feeling they didn’t really specify what the position was on the application, much less what the responsibilities would be. I think it’s also meant to be the 90s, which would mean he wouldn’t t have access to things like the internet to look up the employer and what an average zookeeper does. There’s definitely stuff they just didn’t research / reused assets for so they aren’t accurate, but I will say I do wish that bio vacuum was real.

Honestly i think they can make it better, and an example is the designs of the infected animals they are actually good but there are some errors with the animations (infected gorilla), no transforming animation which would be the most interesting then the static effects in the camera become annoying And the endings are anticlimactic and without much emotion (An example when the woman knocks out doc)

The poop container and parasite container were next to each other, so I think you needed the poop sucker to pull out the parasites. Also, I wonder if people are going to make optimal routes for saving the animals. Like maybe tranq all of them first, then do blood, and then put the food out to do audio checks while they eat.
