I know Victor personally and he allowed a few of us to smell Hyrax before it was officially released. It was so animalic that I started coughing. He"s brilliant when it comes to his fragrances and they are works of art but they are very hard to wear for me. Still love the guy and proud of all of his success.

I would understand standing around drinking some wine and smelling some artistic fragrance scents. Buying them as a cologne.....Not so much!

Victor is without a doubt an outstanding creative director. No other company is quite like ZOOLOGIST and I love that about them. Panda 2014 was my fave of the line but now it's Hyrax, for sure. Although Chameleon & Dodo are both great too! Shhhhh! Lol. Love how you described Moth. This house is one if few I have all of them (11mL) and it Victor keeps hitting them out of the park I will continue to do so. This house is up there with DSH, Matriarch, Olympic Orchids (who YOU should check out, Ellen rocks!) and Lord's Jester (sadly now out of business). Truly capruring something so realistically and magically in a fragrance is art yes; but also true alchemy. Peace Love Perfume! J xox 😘 to both you and Benjamin...right?

Cool...I wish I could get high on spicy food. I love spicy food. lol All those spicy notes in Moth - nutmeg, pepper, clove, cumin, smoke, saffron, cinnamon - the stuff looks like a beast (plus the juice looks like Black Afgano) but you're right! It's more of a sweet floral!

Cool that you don't drink! Are you Ukrainian? Thanks for the reviews. Cubaknows said Hyrax was the worst think he's ever smelled. Your take is the opposite. I suppose I will have to smell it now.

yes, that's pretty cool:) I am Ukrainian indeed;) Try Hyrax but you need to like or appreciate very animalic skanky scents to like it
