Yeah. I got a sample of Cow and Seahorse as soon as they were available..Seahorse leans masculine to me, and it actually reminds me of my father (which isnt a bad thing) but it wasn't for me..Cow on the other hand I really enjoy. But, to me it smells like a milky, spicy, floral bubble bath- Lol! Yeah. I do appreciate it for all the reasons you stated. But, yeah. Bubble bath not Gourmand! My top 5 Zoologist fragrances are now: 5) Cow, 4) Squid, 3) Humminbird and Nightingale are tied, 2) The Original 2017 Dragonfly and 1) BEE!!! BEE is supreme! What a gorgeous fragrance! Thank you for reviewing one of my favorite houses!

I’m with you on Bee being my fave amongst the Zoologist frags. It will forever be difficult for any other Zoologist frag to bump it from #1. I like Cow a lot and I’m glad I bought a bottle. I love Zoologist’s Hummingbird and I think Cow is similar in that it’s a perfect lightweight scent for spring/summer (When Bee may be cloying in the heat!)

I snapped up Cow the day it was released and I love it. This and Snowy Owl are tied for top spot from Zoologist for me and I feel like they’re each other’s counterparts. Snowy Owl for cold weather and Cow for warmer weather - like the same place in the countryside in different seasons. Nightingale is my next favourite followed by Chameleon and Chipmunk

I enjoy this house enormously because they are unique, daring, and quite different. Macaque has been my favorite for some time now. T-Rex and Camel are great as well.

Great review! I got a whole library of Zoologist samples from their website, about 20 or so. I chose Bee as my favorite and actually bought a whole bottle, which is kinda rare for me. Really beautiful and unique. My dog, however, chose Musk Deer and would not give it back. He really loved it. (he didn't drink it or anything, don't worry, he just took it under the bed and kept it next to his nose..)

I love Cow! It's so accessible, but still unique with the grassy notes. My favorites are Cow, Bee, and Squid, but I haven't tried all of them. And I do agree with you in incense. I love smelling incense, but don't want to *wear* incense all the time. That's why I'll always have PoaL in my collection, but have to wait for the right moments to wear it. If you like Squid, you might like Habibi Ambre of the Sea? They aren't exactly alike by any means, but there is a similarity in the trueness of the ambergris note and overdose of salts and amber. It is very nice.

My favourite is Moth, I instantly fell in love with it. All of my Zoologist perfumes were blind buys and successful ones :) Zoologist has become my favourite house. Macaque Yuzu is next one on my list. Your videos helped me alot in picking out my fragrances, so thank you for that :)

Great review Sebastian! Camel and Bee still my favs of the lot, but I just found my decant of Elephant and after sitting for a while, it got stronggggggg. 😄 Like a super extrait. Touch of milkiness in that one too. You described it perfectly - gel-y. Still haven't gotten around to sampling Chipmunk though. Nuts.

I love this house and their artwork so much. I own Panda, Humming Bird and the original Macaque. I love Cow, Chipmunk, Squid as well. Bee is beauty on paper, but on my skin it gets so stanky. It's my sister in laws signature scent and it's just gorgeous on her, I'm really sad about it.

I have smell a few of them but only only one. The one I own is camel and I do like it but it’s not one that I can wear all the time. Some of the other ones that I’ve tried are Bee, Bat and Squid. The other two that I’m intrigued with or rhinoceros and T-Rex. Once I try those two then I’ll probably buy some more but I’m not sure which ones yet.

Apple is the most dominant note in Cow. My brain detects a bit of milk note but I would have loved a more lactonic fragrance. It doesn’t have to be a milky-vanilla shake like fragrance but it could be more like milk, butter, and grains a(wheat, rice) type of combo to make it a comfort fragrance

After trying a Cow sample, I needed the bottle! I truly enjoy the sage and apple opening! I also own Snowy Owl, which is sooooo unique. If I had to purchase a third bottle, I think I would go for Squid, since I really enjoy the ink note!

I love animalics, but CAMEL is too much for me: I have sold it. But nevertheless it is a great scent! ELEPHANT on the other side I like a lot! SQUID is the only aquatic scent I appreciate ❤ very edgy, but wearable in my opinion!

Its barnyard fresh! I bought it and its like only the best smells of the field and fresh milk. I smell apple milk and fresh hay lol. My other two faves of Zoologist are Nightingale, Chipmunk, and Hummingbird.

I’m really not an apple note person I feel. I have tried many and they all remind me of shampoo scent. Cow came close to converting me. That milky note does tone down the shampooness for me but alas it still smells like a hair salon although a very expensive upscale hair salon. My fiancé’s first response to it was actually “it smells kind of like expensive hair product.” He did actually like it more than I did and he’s not a fragrance person but ones he enjoy are typically fresh scents like Maison Margiela Sailing Day. So this is in his wheelhouse.

Interesting.. When I first put this on I got a very strong initial vanilla note, then trails off to a light green floral scent with a milky end. I didn't realize there's no vanilla in it. And I think my fav from this brand so far is Dragonfly 2021.
