ZOOM Fat Albert vs Gary Yamamoto Single Tail Grub

As temperatures rise and seasons change, bass begin to respond differently to lures, colors, shapes and sizes. In this video, I use a slightly different grub (Zoom Fat Albert) that proves to be just as effective and a bit more durable than my normal Gary Yamamoto Single Tail Grub. I also pick up a couple of nice bass along the way with one of my favorite lures to throw. Hope you enjoy. 😉

I just love grubs. Some of the things I like about them are, they work on pretty much every species of fish, you can fish it in almost every way, lots of people don’t throw them so fish are typically not used to seeing them. And they are usually pretty dang cheap.

I love days like this when the fish cooperate! It gets you all happy and then you get out there again and you get humbled because they moved and are no longer there. Over the year I noticed you catch nice crappie there!! I bet if you focused on a crappie episode there you’d get a episode of slabs

Great fishing day specially finding the fish after they moved from where you thought they were nice work. When zoom came out in like the early 90s they sponsored me in a Ohio bass circuit. The bags they used a real cheap in the Bates works great but they've come a long way.

"Tap, tap, something small". I usually think that to. However, I was using a keitech easy shiner 3" (sungill) on a dropshot and it literally felt like a bluegill when it hit. When I pulled up to see if a bream bit my tail off what was supposed to be a lure check turned into a 4lb bass! Like they say, "hook sets are free". Great job on the lake!

Gary Yamamoto baits catch fish, no doubt, my only issue is that they just don’t hold up and they are so pricey, but I still use em. There are some good alternatives out there. Lots of nice fish for you today Titus.... as usual. Have a good one . See ya Saturday night
