Drag an empty patch into the current patch you want to erase or go into the editor and delete it within the editor clicking the trash can

I have the Zoom G5n and the PDL Mn Pit effect sounds really bad. He can't hold the note. Is it possible to try to reinstall this effect or is it a bug that no longer has a solution?

I downloaded some patches to the patch pool but the "copy to device" option is grayed out and can't drag and drop them to the device... Help !

hello, when i click effect - effect pool - the "Load to Device" doesn't highlight that means i can't download the effect. it says - used memory is 74% - Do i need to delete some of my patches? or can i add more memory? thanks

Hello. Is there a possibility to delete existing patches? I've downloaded all the additional Zoom Patches and after trying them out, I decided that I don't need all of them, but there seems to be no way to delete them.

The simplest method would be to overwrite these patches with an Empty patch.

This caught me out. You also have to connect the box to the mains as well as USB. Silly way of doing things IMO.

As long as the patch has 7 effects or less, it should be compatible.

Hello ZoomSoundLab, I just bought a G5n secondhand, updated the firmware to 3.0 and installed Guitar Lab 4, downloaded a number of patches from the website to the unit... Everything went just fine. :-) Now I would like to import a number of other patches that I downloaded from a different website (.zptc files), but I just can't find a way to do so. Is there a way to open those files with GuitarLab and drop them on to the unit? Or to copy them into the unit otherwise? Thank you for helping! :)

I have a g3xn unit with the version 3.0 and the older version of the guitar lab and you can drop the .zptc files from your library and it will copy them and then you connect the unit through usb and copy them

@@pabloalf01 Thank you... I ended up finding the way. So I downloaded all the patches I wanted and transferred them all on the pedalboard, and eventually I back upped them all and reset the G5n to the factory settings. Then I ended up in an hospital, but that's another story :-D . Now what strikes me is the UNequality of the sound levels among the patches. I'm using headphones to test the device, and when I switch patches it goes, on a scale 1 to 10, from a 2 to a full 10... and it isn't much manageable this way. :-o As I see things, it'll take PLENTY of work to balance the various patches in terms of volume, but keeping the tone as much as possible... :-)

You will need an internet connection to download the firmware update file. Once it is downloaded, you will not need to use the internet to perform the update.

I opened Guitar Lab, plugged my G5N into the computer and turned it on and....No effects show up on the Guitar Lab ap. Should the effects be showing in the ap? It says that no device was found. I tried turning it on and off. and...Nothing.

You will need to overwrite the patch, you will not be able to delete it. You can overwrite it with an Empty patch.

How do I put G5 patches on G5n? The extension for G5 is .g5p and for G5n it is .zptc. I am not able to add .g5p in my G5n. Someone please help!!

You will not be able to load G5 patches on the G5n.
