Hi, turntable connected to the amp usual way, the signal comes from pre (recording) out on the amp, that is the best way in my opinion.Thanks!

@@TechieViewVideo I have made a test recording today with Kraftwerk LP and everything worked out fine. the old 78 (1910 0_0 ) with unknown EQ will be a bit tricky. Anyway, thank you for sharing your experience here.

Great review. The Zoom H6 is getting a lot of good feedback. I regret not buying it - instead I went for the TASCAM DR-40x and was surprised at how loud the pre-amp noise is. I'm going to buy the Zoom H6 soon as, judging by all reviews, it seems perfect for what I need.

Great review. Thank you. The audio quality in your video is really good. I am still learning how to use my H6. It’s very comprehensive. I purchased the accessory kit that includes a wired remote and a power supply. Since I want to record a full six channels, I purchased the optional XLR input capsule. My recorder was used when I got it so I missed out on the software…

What are some of the main differences in application between the H6 and the U44? Besides the extra inputs on the H6, it seems like they can both do somewhat similar jobs.

Hi! U44 works as 4 ins and 4 outs, U44 goes to 32 bit in some capable applications, U44 has a pro grade headphones amp and some analogue mixing functionality, U44 has optical / digital connections and could work as stand alone D/A converter etc... H6 does not have all of those features but it does work as stand alone Hi End pro audio recorder / digital audio mixer. Thanks!

Hi, it depends on DAW and OS not all of them build the same way. Usually, one has to chose input in the DAW could be 1/2, 3, 4, 5, 6 directly on the channel strip, in some cases one has to activate inputs from interface in settings of the DAW. Thanks!
