Hi Chris thank you for the videos, they are really helpful! I am currently exploring Zoom features and posibilities and have some questions, if you you can help as you are quiet an expert in using it :). When you create a meeting, can you use the same link with running two or multiple sessions with different participants (let's say one session in the morning and one in the evening? Also if you have set polls questions do the results persisit from the morning session if you use the same link to run again a meeting in the afternoon? Thanks!

Yes, I would love the answer to Norma's question. Specifically I have polls created for previous courses taught last fall. Can I somehow get those polls from the previous meetings and import them into my new spring semester course without having to re-invent the wheel?

Super helpful, Chris. This is very useful for teachers who use the same poll/questions for different sections of the same class. Thanks a lot.

Thank you. I figured educators would like this feature.

Yes, I, too, would love to know how I could use the same poll questions for different sections of the same class but I don’t think you covered that in the video. Still waiting for an answer.....

Hi, Chris. Thank you so much for the tutorial. However, I was wondering whether we can add the poll questions to any recurring meetings or meetings that have already been created. For instance, in semester 1, I have 14 tutorial groups. In week 1, I would like to add the icebreak questions poll to the meeting. It is easy to use your method. I just need to create the template. However, say in week 5, I would like to add new pool questions to those same 14 groups. Is there any way for me to do it easily?

Very helpful. Is there any option to edit a poll, such as re-order the questions or insert a new questions at #1 spot?

Chris, Can you use the Meeting Template Polls for recurring meetings?
@corpusjoe013 жыл бұрын
Hello. Thank you for this information. I teaching teen driver ed (classroom) and every class lasts 16 days, so I have 16 meetings with one group of kids over 16 different days. I want to include polls in every class over the 16 days. Is this where I would create templates (one for each day), since each day is a different topic?
@ChrisMenardTraining3 жыл бұрын
Joe, that is correct. Make a template with the polls. Use that template for all 16 meetings. I'm curious, why don't you use use a recurring meeting and the waiting room? So day 1, when group 1 shows, just let them in the meeting. Day 1, group 2, just let them in the meeting. Also, all your poll results are in one meeting and not 16 meetings. I hope this helps.

I have a series of session with the same meeting id. Can you use the same poll each time with different results or will it cancel out the previous polls on the report?
@williammalone80973 жыл бұрын
Chris, is it possible for the host of the meeting to change or manipulate the answers being received from the poll, prior to the audience seeing the results? In other words, 10 people, 5 vote yes and 5 vote no, but the results display 7 yes and 3 no's. I have been in several meetings whereby the results do not correlate with the "exit" polls taken afterwards. BTW - the host is a cyber security expert. So, is it possible? Thank you and thanks for an informative video.
@ChrisMenardTraining3 жыл бұрын
Hello William. That isn't possible. Someone could manipulate the report answers later if they were in a csv or excel file, but not during the meeting.
@williammalone80973 жыл бұрын
OK, thank you. I appreciate the quick answer.
@haliburtonCND3 жыл бұрын
Why would that happen? Why were the results tabulated incorrectly?
@williammalone80973 жыл бұрын
@@haliburtonCND It happened because the individual conducting the meeting skewed the results in his favor. An exit poll proved it. Boss Tweed once said "I don't care how people vote, as long as I get to count the ballots". That is exactly what happened in this case, sorry to say.

How can you use templates when you are an alternate host.
@ChrisMenardTraining2 жыл бұрын
Not possible. It is up to the host to schedule the meeting and the host must use the templates or when scheduling. If the host does a meeting with no template and makes you an alternate, you will not have the poll questions.

Can you use previous registered info to email or text people of upcoming meetings?
@ChrisMenardTraining3 жыл бұрын
Zoom has a feature that will remind users of upcoming meetings but they have to turn it own.
