Looks to me like the color on the Zoom is much better. Thanks for the video. Very informative.

Thanks for this great informative video. I’m looking into investing in this camera and I’d like to ask: 1. Can you stream live with this camera? 2. I heard that the battery doesn’t have a long life and there are heat issues on the unit. Have you experienced these issues? Any advice will be appreciated

Last question: How did you set up the iPhone to be part of the video switcher on this video? What software are you using? OBS??

@@KaleafWinsNYC Thanks for checking out the video. You can use the camera to stream with. I'm using OBS to record and I sometimes use it to stream. The iPhones and the Zoom camera are connected to the BlackMagic ATEM mini, which is connected to my computer via a USB cable. The ATEM mini shows up a a single webcam in OBS. The ATEM mini does most of the work. As for the battery, you have heard correctly. The Zoom Q2n goes through batteries quickly especially when you are recording in 4k. This is why I usually use a USB battery pack. I haven't had any heat issues with it and I've recorded for up to 2 hours at a time.

I've used it for livestreaming. Only setback is that the original firmware needs to be updated in order to livestream in 1080p vs. 720p. Not a problem. Also use good lighting for minimizing graininess.

ive used this camera for some time now.. it's ok, but the picture isnt great and another very annoying thing is that out of several micro sd cards i have bought, none of them work with this camera.. when i bought it it came with a 256gb sd card that does work... but i havent been able so far to find another one that works..

Yeah, I've found the Gro Pro cameras to be a much better option. I mainly use the Zoom for audio recording now.

@@logisticalstyles that’s good to hear. I was wondering about that. My friend has pretty good results with his iPhone using sound off his board and daw. I’m gonna look into a dongle or connector to my iPhone to see if I can go straight from my drum module to my phone for audio and video. But I might also buy a go pro. I’ll try the phone first.
