Just started playing POE like 5 days ago. I just randomly went down the chaos dam path and then decided to check out some builds and i got lucky that almost all my points actually followed this guide lol. Glad i found this. Any tips for the new player for prioritization?

Sounds like you're off to a good start! In terms of maximizing damage output, just be sure you're in the 37-43% Increased AoE sweet spot, and then try to get as much attack speed, increased skill effect duration, and DoT Multi as you can!

Hi ! Love the guide, very detailled, helps alot for ppl like me who needs advice on a lot of things Just a quick question, why are you taking the projectile damage medium cluster to optimize your damage. Does the vines scale with projectile damage ? (cuz its sounds a bit weird to me).

They do. Proj Clusters are worth slightly more damage than Chaos Clusters. It's not a huge difference, but they are worth more.

Hi, I am loving this build so far but i have a few questions about the finer details of your build I hope you can answer. I've built this build in standard, I have most of your setup other than the mageblood and expensive jewels. In any case my first question is about how you are triggering manaforged arrows. When I play most of the time my mana costs are 0 because of the flasks and reduced mana gear/nodes, this prevents manaforged arrows from triggering toxic rain withering setup in the chest. How are you triggering it reliably with no mana costs? My second question is, in your PoB it appears that you take a bunch of unnecessary increased mana reservation efficiency nodes. You have sovereignty annointed in your amulet and the charisma cluster but you are only showing two auras active, Grace and Purity of elements. Am I missing something?

Thanks! For the first question, you want to get your mana cost with Toxic Rain down to 1 or 2 mana while Alchemist's Genius is active. This can require playing around with your -mana cost of non-channeling skills prefixes, and running a lower rank such as -4 or -5, instead of the usual -7. As for the aura, sometimes Haste doesn't import correctly into PoB when you're using Vaal Haste. You will want to use regular Haste, Grace, and Purity of Elements at all times, and that would account for the big gap in unreserved mana-and the big gap in attack and move speed!

It's insanely strong. Buying and crafting great gems for an Adorned setup can be pretty expensive/time-consuming, but it can absolutely send your damage to the moon.

Hi there. silly question but...dont you run out of flamedash stacks if you M1 the w.step? I dont have the flamedash when I need it since whitering is consuming them all the time..

Flame Dash will still continue to recharge up to 2 charges while Withering Step is active, so it's pretty comfortable to use both together while mapping. The bigger concern is that using Withering Step while at only 1 Flame Dash charge remaining will set your Flame Dash charges back to zero, so it's a pretty common adjustment while bossing to move Withering Step off of LMB, and specifically only use it to apply Wither.

Thanks! Running a level 3 Enlighten linked to your main aura setup and Sovereignty as your amulet anoint will get you the Res Efficiency needed to run three 50% auras. If you don't need Purity of Elements and don't want to run a Purity Watcher's Eye, you can run a more conventional double-defensive aura setup with Grace and Determination. This is a classic setup, very well-liked over the years, but the downside of getting -% Phys Reduction from Blue Altars kinda stinks, it basically cancels out most of the value from Determination, and it's a pretty common downside. You could run Petrified Blood, which has a 35% Mana Res requirement, so that makes fitting in auras quite a lot easier. You could drop the Sovereignty anoint if running Petrified Blood instead of Purity of Elements. This comes with the downsides that Petrified Blood normally has, such as not being able to regen health past Low Life and costing health to use skills while above Low Life. Life Flasks will still take you above 50% health, and you can take the Life Mastery that makes 55% your Low Life breakpoint instead of 50%, so it's a workable option. There aren't great offensive aura options, really. You could run Malevolence and not bother with the Divine Blessing Support. It leaves damage on the table, but it is a simpler setup!

Working on it! Agreed, the delay on attack totems is awful. Even if they work well, it's just not a fun playstyle.

Make sure it's linked to Inspiration Support (20/20, preferably), use a reduced mana cost crafted suffix on flask, and if needed, pick up some reduced mana cost rare jewels.

Absolutely. The biggest downside to using Headhunter is that with added projectiles and increased attack speed, it will strain your hardware. Your FPS may drop!

Unfortunately, you don't, and that's the main reason some players go the Defiance of Destiny/No Life Flask route. It's really good, if you're willing to accept the loss of damage!

Master Surgeon makes the flask not automated but recovery over time applies constantly, u have to press life flask every time effects wears off.
