Spider-Man parents was never really a focus of Peter stories until the ultimate universe was created, but even then his parents wasn’t the heavy focus. Yes Peter did have parents just like Bruce, but the underlying difference is that Bruce watch his parents get murdered right in front of his face at a very young age and on that day Bruce died as well. Plus peter never really knew his parents like that. So it could be the other way around .

Some character like John Wick has more plot armor they broke it in the end for the sake of the story, and people love it. I like more stories like the long halloween, knightfall, court of owls and zero year because the villain got some of their characters, and they “beat” Batman. And batman always find a way out just like those kind of characters do, only sometimes he fights superman, sometimes he fights wonder woman, he’s only a James Bond in the world of superheroes. So I don’t think it has something to do with killing “he’s just a human” thing.

Spider-Man is unusual in comics in that he was a schoolboy and matured over time, as well as many of the problems he faced.But it is also interesting to watch how he finds his life path and credo.Batman is already interesting in that he is an ordinary person without superpowers.
