What I love the most about these islands is that many of its native inhabitants have dark skin and BLONDE HAIR, which developed independently from Europeans. They look SO marvelous 😍 (I've seen some videos here on KZbin) Greetings from Ukraine! 🇺🇦 (Eastern Europe)

Slight facts: The Northern most part it the country is Malaita outta islands namely Sikaiana and Lord Howe islands and the eastern most part is Anuta Islands also there more than 500 languages and Pidgin is the nationally spoken language. Lake Tengano is the largest lake in Pacific and it's a world heritage site, Wairaha River is in Makira Island. Great video btw thanks from Solomons🇸🇧

There’s also a submarine volcano in the Western Solomons called Kavachi, last erupted 2014. Years ago, some researchers found a rare kind of shark species in the volcano and other sea creatures.

Hi you've made an awesome video about my country. I'm from the Western part of Solomon Islands. The leaves that were used to build those houses are from the Sago Palm tree (Metroxylon sagu). The shark species is known as the Blacktip reef shark (Carcharhinus melanopterus). It's normally found on tropical coral reefs. I have lived in Gizo for 4 years and also done hikes up the dormant volcanic mountain at Kolombangara, it's highly diverse. Hope you visit our island country someday. Cheers.
