Begs the question of why animals like dogs, cats, and even sea/aquatic creatures like dolphins, whales, seals, etc. don’t exist in Zootopia. Like, those are all mammals. Did they choose not to delve deep into that (mostly with the sea/aquatic ones)? Maybe in a potential sequel or a TV show they’ll elaborate more on how the world of Zootopia works and all the lore behind it all. Idk.

Zootopia is a GREAT way of showing racism. Sure, the implication that a certain group of people in the past can be equated to predators is a tad blasé, but even despite that awkward situation, within the confines of the movie, racism and its negative effects are still shown. People's own biases, the impact on a group of people when those biases get out of hand, the avoidance and reluctance to talk about it - for a kids movie, it's pretty damn impressive.
