Man, wish I had been able to travel to Cincinatti Zoo when they still exhibited Sumatran Rhinos, the only zoo to have them in the entire Western Hemisphere. Another animal I would love to see is a Tasmanian Devil. They're so rare in American zoos. Even more so in Mexico where I live. A platypus would also be agreat.

a Rare zoo Animal I would like to see on the channel is probably the Drill Monkey (Mandrillus leucophaeus) The only Drill Monkeys found in a North America Zoo is Zoo Atlanta in Georgia. Wolf's Guenons (Cercopithecus wolfi) are kept with the Drills in the Monkeys of Makokou section. Angolan Colobus Monkeys (Colobus angolensis) along with Schmidt’s Guenons (Cercopithecus ascanius schmidti) are also found in the Monkeys of Makokou section. You can either view the Drill Monkeys through a deck that overlooks the habitat or through a glass window in The Living Tree House. In the Living Tree House you can view Ring-tailed Lemurs, Black-and-white Ruffed Lemurs, and Crowned Lemurs. Along with that, there are also many different species of birds that are free-ranging in the Living Tree House. I 100% recommend going to Zoo Atlanta for a future Zoo Tours video. 🦧🦍🐒

Wow, I didn't realize that there were very few zoos that display Walruses! That just gives me all the more reason to visit Point Defiance Zoo one day. Thanks as always for the tour, Zac. I especially look forward to the next one!

Realistically, the rare zoo animal I would like to see in the near future is the platypus, which I hope to someday soon see at the San Deigo Zoo Safari Park. I've been to the safari park before, but of course, I just so happened to go mere months before the monotreme's habitat opened!

I was born in Tacoma Washington and my family lived there till I was 3. I don’t remember much about that time but I remember the zoo. My parents took me there monthly, and even after moving to Oregon we woulda still travel up north every couple years to see it again. I can credit Point Defiance with instilling a love and passion for zoos and wildlife in me, and while it isn’t the biggest or most modern zoo, it will always hold a place in my heart as somewhere truly special. (Side note: I do remember the Belugas and they are missed)

When I went to the Naples Zoo back in 2023, I was hoping to see their Honey Badger and Striped Hyena. But the hyena wasn’t out and the badger was sleeping in its log. So hopefully one day if I go back I can see them.

I didn't know this zoo once hosted Beluga Whales! You _can't_ go wrong with seals & sea lions, but _that_ would've been something to see for sure (even though I've seen them before at the Shedd Aquarium and at SeaWorld California and San Antonio).

The rare zoo/ aquarium animal I would like is the great hammerhead. And I would like to see them at Sharks! Predators of the deep at the Georgia aquarium because it has other rare shark species and it is an amazing exhibit. Also the Georgia aquarium is the number one zoo/ aquarium I would like to visit and Sharks! Predators of the deep is the number one exhibit I would like to see.

Geoffroy's tamarin and blue monkey are two species I have my eyes on for 2025. While less likely for 2025, I'd like to see a drill and a sun bear while they are still exhibited in the US.

Walrus is on my list for 2026 for a not seen species. Last year I got sloth bear off the list completing my ever bear species . No new species on the list this year only new exhibits.
