This is to date the most enjoyable cover I've learned to play. Two reasons: it feels good on the fingers as well as the amazing upbeat vibe the music gives off. The syncopation hits home both in my fingers and to my ears! In my professional opinion the Breath of the Wild version is by far the superior rendition out of the versions, it has so much energy behind it. Not to mention it's meant for piano 😁 I also finished out softly with the original version to keep you OGs happy ;)
Thanks for being patient. This cover was being requested way back in 2021, and probably not the back half of the year either. It took such a loooong time to learn for some reason. I had to get down all the little syncopations and really get intimate with the nuances of the arrangement. Trust me, this popular Zelda cover has been on my radar for awhile now! And it feels amazing to finally upload 😊

Something that always made me sad was that in Ocarina of Time, Zora’s Domain never gets unfrozen in the adult timeline after beating the Water Temple. It wasn’t like the Fire Temple where the Gorons return to Goron City after you save them. Maybe Zora’s Domain had gotten restored again after you beat the game but I can’t remember and I’m not caught up enough on Zelda lore to know how it all worked out. Anyway, I know this comment was somewhat off topic, but nice cover. Sounds real calming and majestic, like the original :)

Ah yes! Core memory unlocked! I was disappointed with that too! I was so excited to go back and see everything change, but I guess it would’ve been easier for the game programmers to leave it as is

Good point. I remember having the same disappointment when I was little. It seems like sadly too much damage had been done to the Zoras by the end, and i think the reason for that is Lord Jabu Jabu. Unlike other Zelda games, the Gorons did not have a patron deity or lord or whatever, they were self-sufficient. The Zoras did, and by adult Link time Jabu Jabu is gone. If we knew what actually happened to Jabu Jabu, maybe we would have more explanation as to why the area doesn't 'heal' in the same way. But what happened? It's one of those mysteries that will never be solved. There's a theory that Jabu Jabu's remains are the ice platforms you jump on. But in WW, you meet Jabun, who either IS Jabu Jabu or descended from the original. Idk. The many hereto unsolved mysteries like this are so much of why OoT remains my favorite of all time.

Well then must have not heard Zora’s Domain from Breath of the Wild of which what the first half of the cover was based on
