I heard a theory that he used haki when fighting number 2 in albasta arc. I dont know if it was ever confirned but i would believe he was using haki without realizing that he was. At the same time though it would be cooler if he cut number 2 without haki.

These two episodes were amazing, we had Law, Zoro, Killer and Kid working together to separate Big Mom and we had Zoro leaving a permanent scar on Kaido.

Big mom didn’t fall in the water in the manga. That was filler, which explains why it’s confusing. Prometheus caught her in time before getting wet he’s fire so getting wet doesn’t make sense I’m confused why they thought they could add that scene

Anime made a BIG BIG BIG mistake in Big mom fall, in the manga she never touch the water just barely save which makes sense, while in anime not only her, but promethus a Devil fruit creation made of fire TOUCHED the water, which is a HUGE impossibility since prometheus shouldnt be able to live much less lift big mom out of water

Just to be more specific... Ryuou is still the same Haki they have been using, it is not a fourth form of haki... that is the Wano word for haki... just like mantra was in skypea... Different isolated countries gave haki different names... BUT samurai or rather Hyogoro explained to luffy that experienced users drive that energy out of their bodies instead of forcing it inside (hardening)... but We and ODA decided to use it as a placeholder for the technique of using haki that way... just to make a difference when showing it to avoid confusion...

Prometheus is a bundle of fire given life... Fire is a plasma (another state of matter that is not one of the 3 basic ones)... but he is not like a regular fire as we know it... we are used for example to it being form a match... the fire in a match disappears as soon as the fuel (the stick) burns off... that energy released as plasma needs to be sustained... if you get a match inside of water the fire will disappear because the flame itself would be dispersed by the dense water on top of the "fuel" being unable to burn because of the water... BUT since prometheus is not the fuel but the fire itself... it does not have a problem with having it's fuel disappear because it does not require fuel... it also does not have a problem with it's plasma dispersing into the water since it is a sentient bundle of plasma that can get itself together willingly... Also it is possible to have fire under water in real life and it is used for welding underwater but we do have to provide Both oxygen and fuel at the same time creating the appropriate conditions to keep it... which is the same as welding with a blowtorch... just more difficult...

I was kind of disappointed when I looked into the "real" Yamata no Orochi, a monster from Japanese myth, and realized that it was JUST a huge snake with eight heads, and the only problem with killing it was finding a way to keep all eight heads occupied as you slice them up. Well, that's what we're seeing now.

Law was not trying to take down kaido... he was trying to make kaido beat down Doflamingo... THEN luffy went and messed up his plans... beat doflamingo instead himself and put kaido in their path... So Law said screw it I pay my debts now it is my turn to take down your enemy together with you... BUT he does still want the poneglyphs and he wants to get to Laugh tale because he wants to find out about the D and all that because of his conection to corazon...

I dunno, Oden can wield Enma and Ame no Habakiri and almost beat Kaido. Zoro still struggles just wielding Enma. Maybe in the next arc, but he's not stronger than Oden yet.

There are active and passive powers (by observation, not by Oda's definition) Some users need to actively keep up their powers active in order for them to work, is they die or pass out what they did goes back to normal. sleeping is a controlled inactive state, passed out is an involuntary loss of consciousness and powers would lose control and deactivate... all logia need to actively stay in elemental form... That is also why knocking out sugar released the toys... Some users activate their powers only once to make something and then that thing stays like that forever... When big mom creates a homie the homie stays alive forever, taking her out would not return her whole country to normal... it would not deactivate Zeus or Prometheus, even if she is underwater... Chopped up buggy would stay chopped up even if he was knocked out... And then there are involuntary passive powers... like luffy... he cannot decide to not be rubber... he always is... just like Alvida... she will always be slippery and thin after eating her fruit... Some power users can have multiple of those combinations in their powers too... since a couple of fruits let you use the powers in different ways... how do we know which is which? Oda just decides what fits the plot...

yes the powers do work under water we saw this back in arlong park luffy's head was stretched out off the the water, he just was drained and couldn't do it himself. As Rock Lee said. Which is a little weird cause with sea prism stone it seems to seal the powers completely prometheus is fire yes, and if flames burn hot enough they are hard to put out, so being in water probably hurt like heck but he survived
