Since Zoro's new Secret Technique Finisher (an Evolved form of 3 Thousand Worlds)- Three Sword Style Secret Technique: Billion-fold World Trichiliocosm, is such a mouthful of a name for people to understand (as a lot of people at the time didn't know what a chiliocosm is); the name original translates to- "Three Sword Style Secret Technique/Skill: Great Three Thousand Great Thousand Worlds" {which has origin references in Buddhism like some other of Zoro's moves}

@@TGLReacts There is no special effects on that scene. Just like it wasn't on Luffy when he one shotted that pacifista. Sentomaru confirmed that Luffy used Haki. From that you can come to the conclusion that Sanji and Zoro also used Haki. Cos they were struggling against one pacifista pre time-skip. Haki is invisible to the naked eye. All haki attack with color and aura are special effects so that the viewer can understand when a character is using Haki.

Armor/hardening haki is a black coat, regular haki is invisible, and as you've already seen in your patreon, conqueror's is red+black. Sanji and Zoro have used haki before, they just didn't use armor haki.

Armenment Haki isn't always visible to the viewer. It is by all means invisivle, but for the sake of the audience it is made black (adviced by Oda's editor).

The characters who were using armament haki before the timeskip were not using armament hardening; they were just using basic armament haki. Armament hardening is an application of armament haki; it's not the same as using basic and regular armament haki. We see this clearly multiple times, such as when Zoro cut Monet's cheek without his swords turning black and when Luffy punched the Pacifista in Sabaody, and we didn't see his fists turn black.

@@POCAHONTASBOI Although i don't remember it being explicitly said in this case. it remains a fact that some things in comics, manga, anime, cartoons are done for the sake of the viewer, of which hardening is one. like imagine if Luffy said hardening and you saw just a normal punch instead of a black fist. it would look stupid. Furthermore Oda likes to make part black to emphazise some part for story sake, hence some inconsistensies. also remember One Piece is still a Shounen manga, ergo a story for teenagers and teenagers aren't always the most observend. there are more things that are done for viewer sake aswell, a prime example would be the naming of moves, to distinguise them from one another. Hardening haki is still a basic implentation of armenment haki and the blackening is simple a tool to clarify what is used. to the people in the verse itself haki is invisible unless they can use observation haki themselves.

Actually i've been hearing this theory that there is way to make a black blade permanently without coating it with haki manually. I heard that someone needs to have conqueror and armament haki to begin with, then fuse it to the blade instead of coating it manually. The blade will be black permanently but the user will lose the use of conqueror haki like intimidating others because the haki has fused permanently with the blade. So, thats why roger and shanks blade aren't black permanently. They didnt sacrifice their conqueror haki to fuse it with their own blade. But, the blade still can be coated with armament haki like zoro coated shushui tho. (Still, this is just a theory)

Armament haki is invisible and in the show they only show it in black to make to make it easier for the audience to know when the character is using it. Zoro has used armament haki in the past even before timeskip mainly when he fought Mr 2 in alabasta arc but it was invisible at the time and Zoro didn't know he was using it.
