Coming from the mangaka itself, the creation of the live action of One pice is not about the replication but all about the expression. A lot of stories changed. But hey this will be a good prpmotion of the anime although it is already known worldwide still it is not known in some other part probably in western countries.

Exactly. They're called adaptation for a reason. It's almost impossible to do a one-to-one and even if you can, why? So long as the spirit remains, it's perfectly fine to change some things. Although my Pops is firm that you NEVER screw with the origins.

@@grandpagohan1 It's true even the much beloved Lord of The Rings movies aren't 1 to 1 with the books and that's not a issue as long as they maintain the expression and spirit in the changes. Although the aspect of cramming so much content into only 8 episodes leading to rushing is a valid criticism, but that's not even the fault of the creators but of Netflix because originally there were gonna be 10 episodes and got cut down to 8

I think the real reason Luffy is so much more likable later in the show is because of how much more emotionally intelligent he becomes. He starts off not understanding how people feel or how to talk to them, as evidenced by how he handled telling Usopp that they had to let go of the Merry. He could have explained it so much better but he wasn’t understanding how all of that was making Usopp feel. But in current One Piece, he’s one of the most emotionally intelligent characters in all of anime and manga. Luffy’s character development is much more subtle than a lot of other MCs. He doesn’t change who he is or have to come to grips with who he is. He’s always been Luffy, but he grows into a better version of Luffy over time.

We can see from the analytics that people always leave/skip when the episode is either paused or finished so if we want people to hear our thoughts then we have to say it during. Also, this show is 90% dialogue so if you don’t want to hear what the reactors have to say then why watch reactions and just go watch the actual episode? 😂🤷🏻‍♂️
