YES! i have waited eagerly for this one, its all good and well with horus heresy and the goody goody gondorarians, but the creepy fortress is where its at! Ever since you startet this project and layed out your plan with the cliff face, the bridge and the spider infested trees, i could just see it before my waking eyes. Also im impressed with how you can store everything like this in the containers, i would be sooo anxious that something breaks or gets lost, i hate storing minis too,i always have the feeling omething is gonna happen to them, fall on them, break and bend... idk its just too much work and time for things to go wrong

I just rewatched this one. Have a friend I'm trying to get into wargames and showed him this. "Look how awesome a board game can be!!". Always such sick builds! The size alone amazes me. Just a humble 3d printer myself with some simple foam builds under my belt. Really a huge help that you talk through your process on every aspect of the build. Lots of great ideas and techniques any tabletop crafter can learn from. Cheers!

The simple choice to make everything angled in this build has really created an amazing effect on the entire thing. This is probably my favourite build of yours, which considering I don't really like the plastic kit and wasn't particularly blown away by the set in the movie is pretty cool.

Lovely as always mate. I particularly liked the way you blended the plastic balustrades with the foam. That detail looks amazing. Also the idea of locking yourself in a shipping container in the Queensland heat after NZ must have been a bit of a shock to the system. Keep it up you mad lad!

So, at one point, I had a desire to fill my entire basement with a Games Workshop miniatures game map of Middle Earth. I'm not an expert or anything, but when I did the calculations in order to make a scale map that would incorporate the Shire to Rohan would require a playing space the size of Pennsylvania. I'm guessing you guys were a bit more realistic.

Easily my favorite Zorp build - I think its because of the complete lack of right angles and the tons of elevation changes, which means everything needs to be at least partially handcrafted, and he can't resort to spamming modular terrain kits. It prevents him from getting lazy, and so the entire piece ends up having a lot of love put into its construction, and looking a lot better for it.
