When Zoya Akhtar was interviewed by Anupama Chopra about the germinating idea for the screenplay of Luck By Chance, Zoya said that she was at a party where a bunch of actors/stars were bitching about another actor saying that "he won't make it because he is too content." Zoya interjected in the conversation saying that "isn't contentment in life and career the ultimate goal?" And all the actors turned to her and gave her a look like "this woman will only make art films/festival films" (her own words). What is fascinating about this film is that Zoya has structured the film such that while it seems to be an ensemble, there is an author person or narrator and the film is told through their perspective. Sona's character opens the film with the scene in the casting director's office and closes the film with the monologue about being a working actor and having to find her own path to success instead of waiting for success to happen and how a catalyst in her life guided her to that realization. Konkona in my opinion is one of India's greatest actors and it was her strength as an actor that nailed this film and the point that it is trying to make. Undoubtedly Zoya's finest film.

Konkona Sen is a great actor still she didn't get the recognition she deserves after working for two decades in the industry. Whenever you see her in any movie you just feel that she is not just playing the character she is living the character which makes her special. Guys can we get reaction for Saas Bahu And Flamingo. I watched the series and i strongly recommend that. Dimple Kapadia has killed it in the series.

SRKs cameo is THE MOST meaningful and meta cameo ever. it might as well be not writing or acting but just his true words. it's just a cherry on top, how well Zoya captured everyone in it. even today every outsider comes to Bombay/Mumbai to become the next Shah Rukh Khan

Fun Fact: Dimple Kapadia , with an interview with Rajiv Masand, said that her character was based on a real life Bollywood personality. She didn't name her , even though Rajiv pushed her a lot. And she said most of the experience that Isha Sherwani experienced was something she could relate to when she was young. And that's why this character came naturally to her

"Aamir" "Oye lucky lucky way" "Shaitan" Zoya Akhtar, Anurag kashyap , r raghban come up with a new wave .. Indian TV shows were at peak from " Wednesday to Swadesh.. to Ranbir's Wake up sid , Rocket Singh .. It was a Golden period And yeah Indian kids watching courage, johnny Bravo, dragon tales ,Pokemon, Dragon Ball bayblade But unfortunately Audience didn't take it very well.... When they're saying now a days Bollywood didn't produce good films .may be they're just fooling themselves 😅

The movie Farhan was watching was an actual movie of Dimple Kapadia, she was a sensation at her prime days in movies. Her debute movie was with Rishi Kapoor (the producer in this movie) he was also acting on that movie as a hero for the first time....movie name Bobby... Both have acted in very few movies after that, but after Bobby they paired together only after 12 years movie named Sagar... With regards for so many Cameos, farhan before starting to act was already established Director... He made Dil Chahta hai He has so much name for himself so when asks any actor for a cameo no one says No to him...
