How can something so polished and worked on have only 620 views? We, newbies are sleeping on this. Great video man, keep it up!

These tutorials are amazing. Actual true information with demonstration and explanation. No BS ads to pay for a tutoring session every 30 secs. Explanation backed up with math and common sense so even newbies can understand. No unrealistic expectations from newbies such as last hitting every creep and perfect timings and positionings and fights which is a realistic approach to what happens in games. Thank you so much!

Great video! And love the breakdown of the different "levels" of contesting. Was really glad you mentioned not pulling at the end of the video because lately (with more drow and Medusa safe Laners) pulling can be really hard if the pos1 is really weak. If you leave lane to pull, the pos1 is super susceptible to a 1v2. I think there are lanes where you kind of just have to stay next to the pos1 at all times until they go jungle... Do you think you could make a video about what to do in this scenario?

After watching this video I've changed my vision of certain situations which I might have considered bad earlier. Now they are seen as different kinds of opportunity. I really like this kind of content since I've noticed a while ago that people generally feel upset when they don't know what to do. That example changes things completely for many people out there and they'll start enjoying the game more hopefully

This is super important to know, alot of passive 4s just chill in lane while the support pulls constantly, or dumb 5 dont know how to keep equilibrium. And carry gets no farm

Hi this is doreato from stream yesterday - do you have any recommendations to learn position iv? (guardian iv). Right now I just watch you and try to botch the ideal scenerios you describe haha

Hmmm actually I don't really have any specific resources to share about position 4 sorry :( I get this question a lot though, and I'm thinking once I finish my position 5 grind back to 6.5k, I'd like to spend a bunch of time on position 4 and try to make some guides for it Maybe some other commenters have some advice for pos 4 resources?

Buy 2 sentry to block the small camp of safe, dont let any creep spawn in there. this way you can keep the lvl of pos 1 low, harass as much as possjble even if u need to buy potions, in that way pos 1 too will buy pots and will be distracted on last hitting, lastly ask mid to gank u. thats the end of laning phase for me, after that i roam.

Great content as always ! Pulling is so much more complicated than i originally thought it was. Everyone knows how to pull, even at my bracket (gardian/crusader), but very few know how to do it effectively, and i think you made a pretty good job covering it ! I got a few questions : - you mentioned the catapult wave earlier in the video, is it good to pull it ? I've noticed some weird behavior with creep aggro and catapult, i feel like it doesn't work the same. Also it takes ages for creeps to kill it, because of fortified armor i guess, so should i try to do it anyway to deny the catapult (lot of gold/xp) or should i use it to pressure tower ? - Not about pulling, but i've noticed that you draw creep aggro from the moment you issue the attack command. If you clicked on the enemy away from creep aggro, when your hero come into range and actually attack the enemy, creeps don't aggro you ! Until you issue another attack command. But what happens if you don't ? I guess you keep hitting him, without drawing aggro. But then you can't use hit and run, because you'd have to issue an attack command and aggro the creeps. And you can't use spells either, for the same reason. It makes your attack less effective, Is there some trick related with that, that i am missing ? - About who gets the exp, i think i remember you talked about it in a previous video, but you confirm it doesn't matter who gets the last hit on a neutral creep ? Every hero in exp range will get share the same amount of xp ? Regardless of who is closer or who made the last hit ? - I've always thought that creeps (enemy or neutral) when killed by my allied creeps, give gold to the whole team, i thought that was how passive gold works, but it looks like it's not, is it ? You actually get nothing when you don't last hit a creep ?

It can be okay to pull the catapult wave, but it's a risk. If the enemy team pushes up to your tower with the catapult and you have no creeps there, your tower could end up taking a ton of damage. It can still be okay to pull the wave, but it's got a higher risk than regular waves and you should be aware of that. The catapult does have some weird aggro behaviors, I cover it a bit in one of the previous pulling videos. I wouldn't worry about denying the catapult with a pull, it's pretty hard to do. What you are referring to is lane creep aggro. It's a bit complicated, but essentially if you draw aggro, you can't remove them for 2.3 seconds. After that, they check their attack priority again, which might mean they go somewhere else or continue to attack you. Issuing an attack command on an enemy hero tries to draw creep aggro, and this can be done on a 3 second cooldown. If you don't draw aggro, you have 3 seconds where you cannot draw aggro. Spells don't draw aggro when used on enemy heroes. It's kind of hard to explain in text, I forget what video I covered it in though It does not matter who gets the last hit on a creep, everyone in 1500 range gets XP for a creep dying (you don't get XP for your own creeps dying of course). In most cases, only the person who last hits gets the gold. The exception is when you stack a neutral camp, then whoever stacked it gets 30% of the gold that the last hitter gets. To clarify, the last hitter gets 100% and you get a bonus 30%. Does not occur if the enemy takes your stack. Passive gold is a pre-defined amount of gold over time. It used to be 100 gold per minute (1 gold every 0.6 seconds). Due to a recent change, passive gold increases at certain time intervals currently, but the concept is the same.

@@ZQuixotix 1thank you for taking the time to answer all this !

I sometime have the problem that, as p5, I stack the small camp in case I need to pull a whole wave, but then I never have to pull because the equilibrium is always right in front of my tower. Then the enemies actually farm my stack (e.g. by using a couple aoe spells) and I feel like I fed them a little. Do you find yourself in this situation and what do you do?
@ZQuixotix3 жыл бұрын
I try to judge how likely the enemy is to steal my stack. If I think they can do it, I try to pull the next wave right away unless there's a specific reason that I can't A stacked camp will kill off your entire wave unless you nuke it, so it's unlikely to be an issue if your carry has to farm under the tower for a wave. Equilibrium will reset with the next wave in front of your tower. The main risk is if they can be dived

what if i'm playing a really weak support, how do i contest the pull?
@DeadlyShadow73 жыл бұрын
13:00 isnt that simply due to aggro-range?! i dont feel like there is any difference, except one has the habit to stand near creeps when trying to draw aggro by issuing an attack… :) i guess youll account for travel-time if you attack the creeps thou :D

keep it a secret haha.. this is my way making the lane lose. I simply dont let the safelane pull
