I think this revamp gave me exactly what I felt the original was missing: something to fill the empty space. I think the original Next Level was so similar to the F&F track that it ended up sounding like action movie background music rather than a standalone song. Still good music, just a little empty and repetitive for my taste. The extra adlibs, harmonies, and subtle changes in the instrumental here really added to the song, IMO, and it kept the whole thing fresh and interesting without having to rely on a switch-up in the bridge (even though that bridge was my favorite part of the original and it's not here anymore, lol). Props to you, ZSunder!!

The overall change made it more pop-sound-conforming and it actually sounds like something f(x) would've sung in their time with some modern/futuristic addition. I really like this one better than the original because you always enrich the song with cool backing sounds and harmonies and never put noisey drums to conform the song into an emd-trap based trend, you simply improve the existing sound by making decent yet impactful adjustments. AAAAAAAAAAAAAA i love the change for the bridge, it feels like it should already belong in this song. and i'm so glad you used the oooh wee thing to transition back out???!!!! i usually like the three songs in one vibe but the og transition is just... rlly jarring. the 4 beat high hat literally sounds like using a metronome to count the new section in, it's disappointing they didn't put in the effort to mesh it together; tbh i think that's why people wish they had made separate songs, it just kinda feels like when i'm flipping through my phone trying to figure out what to listen to. also, they switch to jazz thats like the easiest genre to use for this wtf!!! groups like snarky puppy write 8 minute songs that sound like a completely new genre every minute, but you don't notice because the transition is a part of the song. imagine if they actually maintained continuity in the electronic instruments while accentuating the jazz vibe? hell, they could have used the notes from the normal bass line or the oooh wee thing as a background accent with the key switched and built off that; it's not much, but it would help it feel like the same song. this is why its literally a crime that you're not writing for artists before they hit the stage, cause the whole section COULD have been rlly cool and unique, but if they didn't wanna commit then just keep the og vibe and go tf off. yours is literally Transcendent and fits what they already had going. idk why i'm so fired up abt this, but it had so much potential..... now we devote our lives to zsunder god for giving us what could have been
