RE: What Jokic was doing: He has the most touches per game of any player in the league. He wasn't assisting or shooting, but he helps direct plays, draws a lot of defensive focus, and gets his hands on the ball for at least a second almost every play. In his post-game interview, MPJ talked about how the credit for his strong performance goes to his teammates who gave him so many open looks. They don't make the highlight reels, but in the game Jokic is drawing a lot of defense just by existing. It's not a block if the shot's never taken. There's a lot of times the Heat just couldn't take a good shot, there was like 5-7 minutes in the first quarter when the Heat couldn't get a bucket. Where they're forced to just pass it around after giving up on a few different attacks only to miss a contested shot. Butler's post-game he just said "nobody can go toe to toe with Jokic, minute for minute except Bam" and like Draymond said a few weeks ago, it's just exhausting get matched against Jokic because he takes advantage of anything you give him. But also I think that if Jokic sees his teammates doing well and keeping the game in hand, he's happy to just let them go. If you look at the lead tracker for the game, the Heat were only ahead for maybe 12 minutes the whole game and never by more than 4.

You are wasting your time, he hates Jokic cuz he owns the Lakers and he doesn't watch the games to see that Jamal Murray got benched and Jokic was being double, even triple teamed the whole game so he just directed the plays, And it's not easy to play the Heat, every game against them is a dog fight where everyone is fighting for scraps, that's why it's always low scoring

Murray and KCP were resting on the bench at the end of the game after they told Malone to let Reggie and the kids cook since they were doing so well. During a time out after Reggie hit 7 points in a 1:13 seconds they both were up celebrating as he walked back to the bench with around 3 min left. Jokic drew so much coverage the team was getting open shots so he didn’t need to shoot. Had the Nuggets needed him he would have gotten 25 easy.

Jokic' s gravity won this game for us. Drew triple teams in the paint, & doubled on the perimeter. So, the rest of the Nuggets had 4 on 2 or 3 for most of the game.

The Morris brothers were completely embarassed all over again when they made a public threat agains Nikola, and were suddenly reminded that The Joker has two brothers that are also 6'10" and not quite as nice as he is. Nikola Jokic may be the Joker, but the Morris brothers are absolute clowns.

Nuggets bench on fire Jokic had cold numbers because he was constantly getting double teamed, leaving MPJ wide open so he never took too many shots. He did contribute in rebounds and assists. Jokic being overguarded is why Denver bench put up so many easy numbers

Assists only count if the bucket drops. Miami did a great job of forcing the Nuggets into a lot of bad/tough looks and Denver did the same. Game was a pretty good dogfight, Denver wins.

Miami has a style that makes team Extremely uncomfortable especially teams that are heavily dependent on shooting like Boston. Denver is just so much more resilient to playing uncomfortable type of games that’s why they continue to beat Miami. I would not be surprised if Miami beats Milwaukee or Boston in another playoff series this season. Or if Milwaukee gets the Pacers I can see the Pacers knocking them down in a seven game series because Milwaukee struggles with those quick teams like the Pacers or the Warriors or even Sacramento. There’s gonna be some upsets this season in the east. Count my words on that.
