My MC801A worked well for four months and it was stable, but can’t connect an external antenna for 5g/4g. the port is for wifi. I couldn’t tell you anything about HUAWEI CPE pro 2, I never used.

@Dex4Sure the antenna I bought came with some but these antenna ports are actually for wifi signal out. So I returned is and got the OPPO T1. Also this router doesn't support standalone 5G.
