Just replaced the screen following this video. Thank you. For the screen replacement, charging port doesn't need removal. Also, you have to buy a 2mm tape along with the digitazer screen (replacing screen using the frame assembly it is more tedious)

please check your power button flex connection. once you open the back housing of the phone the power flex connection is on the left side right below the digitizer connection. its a brown ribbon. it should be tuck under a flap lock connector to the board. if the ribbon is not insert all the way or the flap down lock is not lock, power button wont work. let me know if u get it. thanks you

My phone accidentally got wet from the rain and was acting weird so I took the plastic cover off to get the water out. I also took off the frame and the motherboard to make sure there wasnt any water. Now, the screen won't work and everytime I try to turn it on it makes like a fire popping noise and the area where the charger is/the circle notification light gets very hot. What should I do?

You don't have to do all of this to change the battery. I watched a shorter video (approximately 5 minutes) and I was able to change the battery. Unfortunately, I can't get the fingerprint to work. Oh well, this phone is old and discontinued. And no professional really want to work on it where I live. I will take it apart and give it another try tomorrow. I guess it really is time to move on to another phone. How familiar are you with this phone and camera? Blade ZMAX camera won't save pictures. It just clicks but the picture does not save? Can anyone please tell me how to get my camera working again? I have all my information going to San Disk 128 gb SD card (internal storage, texts etc.) I still have 17gb left on the SD card was working great last pictures/videos 1-3-21 I went to download important pics from 1-5 and 1-6 and they weren't there. I tried to delete pics and largest videos. No help, they won't delete. I've restarted, rebooted, cleared cache, switched on and off permissions for all other apps with a restart after each, tried safe mode. Just FYI - I use the Blue circle messenger app. I went to send a message and I saw the camera icon there. I took a photo and I was able to attach and send it. So the camera is working. PS I downloaded all photos and videos to my home computer but they will not erase off the SD card? Any solutions? Can you take the SD card out, put it in a computer save then delete all the photos. Then put the SD card back in the phone without having to format so i don't lose my texts? when I try to shoot a video it says media recorder is busy please close related apps If you are not a guru, Is there anyway to get tech support from ZTE on my issue, or is there a ZTE guru who works at a fix it store? I really need my camera to work again Thank you in advance if you or anyone else anyone can help me
