Yes I remember, but as you would expect this Nubia tablet is miles better. It makes the LG 3D phone look like a kids toy. The nubia Pad is more like having a portable LG 3D screen in your hands.

Nice review, you're so lucky to be able to use this kind of tablet, 3D photos you've shown are slighty moving as your S23 phone captures it so we can say that it is really looking better in person, I wonder if there are console games that supports 3D when you remote play them on a device like that Nubia tab, and if all screens soon becomes 3D like that it would be a much more immersive experience for gamers. peace and enjoy your 3D viewing.

I'm really curious about the ability to convert 2D videos in 3D in real time. Have you tried any 2D material in order to test this feature? If so, how good is the result?

There is a video on KZbin showing people reacting to 2D content converted to 3D using the same app (LeiaTube) on a 3D tablet that released a few years ago with half the 3d resolution and no head tracking. People loved it. So I can only imagine this new one is more than twice as good of an experience. Not to mention a more powerful chip to do even higher quality conversion.

I've been using the original Lume Pad for a long time and it's impressive, in fact any website that streams video can be used, Leia Flix is only in USA, and you can load movies from the TF or on a stick in the C port.

Hey Mark! Currently you need to use conversion software to convert from our Leia Video Format to SBS to view in VR headsets for video, but photos natively export to SBS and can be played back in VR instantly!

I make 3D content with various native 3D digital cameras. The Videos I render to Side by Side MP4 files . Still photos are rendered nornally MPO format. Can this pad shows these films and photos in 3D?

It's NOT the 1st! There is LumePad 1, 12.4" screen, before this 3D pad! I have one. The #2 has a few updated options. It has a Leia chat button & a dream button. Other than those 2 items, it's the same as the 1st version, #1.

No. It has face tracking, which is a big deal - you dont have to keep your head rigidly in one spot(which is impossible). Also brighter, which is also important.

ZTE has teamed up with Leia for its 3D Lightfield technology, including AI computing, to deliver dynamic 3D face-tracking and improve 3D viewing angles in real-time. Leia’s technology adds an extra layer to the display, making stereoscopic 3D experiences possible without the need for special glasses. I can’t see this getting standardized any soon, but I guess other companies can also parter with Leia to use their impressive technology.

Never tested the LG 3D but comparing it to LG 3D TVs the experience is very similar. Feels like a portable LG 3D screen but without the need for 3D Glasses.

Umh. It's pretty pointless to demonstrate a 3D display with a STATICALLY mounted camera... :facepalm: It would have helped quite a lot if you'd have at least rotated the tablet left/right slightly with respect to the camera - you didn't even do this ONCE (the closest you come to rotating the tablet is near 3:50 - but that was mostly by accident), so we get no information about the different viewpoints, or how many autostereoscopic viewing "bins" there are.

How impressive is this? I thought it was kind of parallax 3d method when you tilt the tablet or you look from sides. I cant believe how the pop up works. Can you compare it with how different or similar this is when you use a passive 3d glass and watch a 3d tv content? I am a 3d fan, and love watching 3d movies and games in 3d tv. How similar is this, specially the resolution and clarity

The 3D effect looks as good as a 3D TV, just like when wearing passive 3D glasses. It's next level. You also have face tracking, so it will detect your face and enhance the 3D to your face. The pop-up effect is as good as a passive 3D glasses. things come right out of the screen, in front of you. I was not expecting the 3D to be this good. Especially without 3D glasses. In the 3DS, you still get this rainbow effect sometimes, but not in this tablet. This 3D is very clear. the screen quality is also great, which makes it a very enjoyable experience.
