Even though I didn't put his entire Pompo: The Cinéphile sequence, it easily seems to me to be his best work to date. On the one hand, his liquid effects animation moves in a very satisfactory way and is three-dimensional, also reacting to contact with surfaces and being affected in its direction by the wind. The character acting is also amazing since the weight in each movement is very well represented, making it possible to feel that the characters are really exerting force. Everything moves with an elastic feel, from the hair reacting to the character's movements or the strong wind, the same goes for the clothes but with the addition of having quite complex shading to represent the wrinkles, which is animated perfectly according to the movements of the characters and generating a sense of three-dimensionality that only the best animators in Japan could achieve.

Yes, Takeuchi's sequences for movies #05 and #07 are too good. I quite like them in the sense that you can see that the animator obtained a lot of creative freedom to express his style the way he wanted, giving very unusual results
