I've seen people who claim that it's impossible to draw that without having a 3D reference, but I guess they don't know the capabilities of Inoue, who could easily be the best animator in Japan

This is a re-edit of my creature animation video due to copyright, there are new sequences added that I found interesting, some sequences that were already there now have better quality due to the BD release. The original video was blocked 2 and a half months ago, the reason I waited so long to reupload it was because I was working on other videos and because I had a lot of hope for the adaptation of the fight against the dragon from Frieren's anime, which were fulfilled and I was able to add two incredible sequences of that fight. This video represents the best I am capable of doing. Initially this video was going to be about Digimon, but I decided to expand it to creatures in general, adding each time a longer version of Bolero until I was done with this. The video is divided into 3 marked sections, being small (00:00 - 03:08), medium (03:08 - 06:50) and large (06:50 - end) creatures, though there are a couple of exceptions. My favorite part was the evolution from Agumon to Greymon animated by Ryou Oonishi at 10:04, but since Toei is very difficult to deal with copyright, I had to severely modify it and added another clip that breaks the rhythm of the sequence. I tried to edit it many times in more ingenious ways, but none of them were accepted by copyright, so that's the reason I use this one. We all know that Evangelion Units are androids, but I took advantage of certain aspects to put a sequence from The End of Eva here and maybe in my next Mecha video. I may never make a video that long again, as I don't think there are any topics that require it.

I love the animated creatures in Ghibli movies, they feel incredibly real despite the extravagant designs

That is the result of working at Ghibli since they are very strict (Miyazaki), but the fundamentals of animation are so well taken care of that surely any animator could learn a lot. I like the illusion of life of the studio artists' creatures, since they present movements that, although subtle, add a lot to making them more expressive. The three-dimensional volume and flow of smooth movement also helps reinforce the feeling.

14:20 thats basically that shot from mission impossible where hes on the outside of the plane. I havent seen the movie but Im about 111% sure thats a huge inspiration for that shot.

Episode 6 of Frieren was quite a spectacle, I can't believe that Madhouse recruited Yutaka Nakamura again to do key animation!

That's because the animation producer is Yuuichirou Fukushi, who has a huge amount of contacts throughout the industry. He was primarily responsible for bringing together all of OPM S1's talent. If Fukushi is on board, it is certain that very talented people will enter the project

The thumbnail image is too good, it uses an incredible perspective to represent the scale of the dragon I'm not surprised it's Yutapon's work

Right? And in movement it is even more impressive, since it represents very well the force that the dragon exerts with its movements and how Stark is affected by being attached to the dragon's head

Similar things have been done a couple of times, but it's usually to represent the pilots of some fighter plane receiving inertia in the cockpit when changing trajectory at high speeds, although of course Yutapon added a unique feel that will probably be taken for future reference

I'm currently working on a mecha animation video and a Tetsuya Takeuchi video, but I've been having creative issues with both, so it will take a while to finish them.
