The prettiest of all dances about the Tang concubine. Being drunk never looked so gorgeous. Superior music, costume and choreography than the two newer versions from Beijing Academy.

reminds me of the doll I took out of the package from Santa as a little girl; all those little girl imaginings when we play with our dolls... she is much thinner than my dolls ever were though. Beautiful effort and routine, but you do wonder how the got to this perfection. Hmmm

this is a very good dance but it was Emperor Xuanzong not Gaozong. still lovely even if she did stumble alil.

Both dances portray Yang Yuhuan, I think this piece has better choreography and prettier dancer.

"portrays the concubine known for her voluptuous figure" *stick-thin dancer* hehehe. Especially if you consider how the Tang dynasty beauty ideal went toward plump women! Nice dance though. (And as someone pointed out, wrong emperor.)
