To be fair, the Lara in the last clip was prioritizing bodyblocking the Spirit over opening the gate. When Zubat runs towards the gate switch she positions herself between zubat and the Spirit, so Lara probably thought Zubat was going to open the gate so she fully committed to a bodyblock 🤓🤓🤓 btw

honestly, it should have been the jake to open the gate. while lara may have been trying to bodyblock, zubat was also trying to get the blind. jake was literally right beside the lara and could have wrapped around backwards and gotten the gate. nancy was too far back to be able to do anything.

It's happened to me several times in situations like this where the survivor tries to unhook just at the moment you're going to save him, so what happens, you take him off the hook and you fall to the killer or you fall before you can take him off and then you both die.

it's actually if you vault the window at a 90 degree angle, you can force the guard to run to the other side and doing this you can gain a ton of distance on certain windows (rpd helipad vault down is a good example)

@@yatrtiah i know. The thing is: in the moment he would open it, someone would take a hit and run. From there his only option is to get away from the gate, because he cant go through the killer, so he has 2 choices: run away and try reach gate again while leaving his teammates to heal back and try tank again for him or he risks it all trying to go around the killer and this depends solely on your teammate's ability to take a hit for you without sandbagging or just being so bad you get a hit anyway ( this can easily happen ). The best way to get away from that scenario is force the person opening the gate to get hit, because the one being hit can go through the killer, then have the other one bodyblocking the killer from going inside the gate. They were just super unorganized trying to save him so nancy was the mvp here. Also, the hook was close to the gate so they had absolutely no reason to not open it, which also falls under their fault.
