It’s weird to think of a world without the John Cena we know today. He became the most recognizable face in the WWE, he was the top dog and one of the firsts you thought about when thinking about the WWE and he was that close to being released. There would’ve been no WWE spinner belt as he brought that belt in, no “you can’t see me” leading to the eventual invisible Meme. No movies, no doctor of Thuganomics, who knows how different John’s career path would’ve been had he been cut. So thankful he wasn’t.

It's always the little skills that people think are useless that can save you. In this case, John's ability to freestyle saved his career in WWE.

I have a whole new level of respect for Stephanie McMahon. She was there, but not idle - she was observing talent, looking for little things that could make them into future superstars. Sure, John picked up from there - but even John Cena needs help from time to time. Props to Steph, bring us more superstars!
@gaurav71422 жыл бұрын
For all who r saying Steph alone saved Cena's career Steph tested him by asking him to rap on that can bus flight and Cena did is brilliantly He really passed the test When you have the talent no one really can stop you Cena had the freestyle talent And he passed the Steph test So Cena was destined to become a WWE star and Hollywood star Steph was just a part of his destiny Though She should be credited for noticing cena's ability to rap And Cena was fortunate enough to have Rikishi and Rey start the topic But it just had to happen It was destined Rey and Rik had to be rapping on the bus Steph had to notice cena's ability Cena was destined to become a Megastar(especially when he's multi-talented) ✌️Peace in the replies

I can't say Cena was destined to become a Megastar. When you're given a chance you have to take that chance and make everything out of it. Sometimes that chance only comes once in a person's lifetime. It is what you do with that moment that is the difference.
@fs64182 жыл бұрын
This showed that Stephanie has an eye for talent. Cena was on his way out the door, it had already been decided. If Steph has chose to ignore what she saw and heard on that bus, Cena would have had his last match and been released. He was just doing something to pass the time on the bus, she's the one who saw the potential of how to incorporate that talent into his character to give him new life and a chance to become the John Cena we all know today. His is one of many stories of wrestlers who've been given new life in the business due to something that someone else in the business saw in them that they didn't see for themselves. That's what's so fascinating about wrestling is that these people (not all but a good majority) realize that the better the talent around them the better chance they all have to succeed.
