😃 Oooo I never thought about that either. You're right, both had similar upbringings. It would be very interesting to see how they will interact with each other finding out about their past. Although, I could see Toph maybe breaking the ice first on talking to Mai. Mai is probably too used to being quiet and reserved to be the first to go talk to anyone 😕

My theory is that Ozai would not let Ursa and Azula bond because he is afraid that Ursa would teach her love and make her weak and that is why Ursa doesn’t spend that much time with Azula after she breastfeeds Azula.

In terms of mirroring Team Avatar (Zuko-Aang, Mai-Toph) I think Ty Lee mirrors Katara and Azula mirrors Sokka. I mean, Ty Lee and Katara are the ones that care the most in keeping the team together, don't they? And Sokka and Azula are the teams' strategists and I think there's at least one more similarity between them, but I can't think of it right now :/

🤔 I would assume Ty Lee probably knew about what happened to Zuko. Given that both Mai's and Ty Lee's families are nobles, it would make sense they probably heard about Zuko's accidental outburst (either through Azula or gossip) and saw the entire dule.
