These with e-drums would be super cool.

I own and regularly gig on the Sabian FRX cymbals. They sound great, and in most of the situations I'm working in they work perfectly. However, there are some situations where these would work even better, and these are CONSIDERABLY less expensive than the FRX. My interest in piqued...

What size sticks are you using in this demo? I find the 20" Ride to be pretty much unusable with anything heavier than 5A´s.

A comparison to Agean´s R line cymbals would be interesting, since they seem to be pretty close to each other regarding volume reduction

Do you think the 30% volume reduction is about correct on these line it says on their site? I play a lot of smaller venues and cymbals are the biggest killer. But I’ve wasted money on LV cymbals that are great for practice but I’m wondering if these will be loud enough for a live gig. I wished they were in the USA so I could check them out in person

I have had the 18" ride for a couple of weeks now. 30% is about right. Volume is right on the edge of uncomfortable with your head next to them. Could be played without hearing protection, but it would get fatiguing after a while. (vs full volume cymbals which just hurt) The one I have seems to scale well with dynamics. Gentle playing gets them down to conversational volume. Heavy playing you would have to shout to be heard over, but people would still be able to hear you (vs traditional cymbals where they'd just see your lips moving). Hope any of that helps.

@@chairmanwoo1878 , thanks for your input. The Millenium Still series would then be way lower than this? As they say they decrease volume in 80%?

@@QuaseMutantesSubjectively I would say the nickel/steel LV cymbals (like the millenniums) are around 40-50% less again. So if the Zultan Mellows are around 70% of a regular cymbal. Something like a Millennium Still would be around 40-50%. And then Ziljian l80's are closer to 20-30% (they really are stupidly quiet) If you like to hit hard, the Zultans can get pretty loud (probably loud enough to upset neighbors). If you play mid-low dynamics they are very manageable though. Hope that helps.

Sorry, aber die Snare ist echt zu dominant mit dem superfetten Backbeat.Der drückt den Beckensound in die Ecke.Meine Meinung.Ansonsten finde ich euren Channel echt genial.LG
