Mahebourg is a song written by Sedley Assonne and performed by Zulu. The song is inspired by Mahebourg (a village in south Mauritius) where both Sedley and Zulu grew up. I am coving this beautiful song to honor Mahebough and its people, recently affected by the Wakaship ship oil spill.

I love your interpretation of this gorgeous balade, in my mind it should be used as part of a tourist campaign by our battered airline. It always get a chill every time I listen to this song particularly when you reach those high notes. It's pure and it transports me to the dusty streets of Mahebourg, a place which is dear to me. I also visualise this song being played in loud speakers in every street of this lovely coastal jewel during the regatta and at La Pointe des Regates as colourful sailing boats race past.The tempo is melodious and your voice enchanting, the strumming are so rhythmic and makes me want to get up and dance 'ene ti sega'! Wonderful, keep up the good work! PSs. I would really love to hear you play and sing 'Shape of my heart; by Sting whom I have seen in Centennial Vineyards in Bowral in mid February 2023.
